[The Haze Of Our Lives]

I have had a deep seated problem with these people since my 2nd grade "Jewish" teacher (Judy Burnstein) held me back from going out for recess only to say "My dark hue reminded her of her morning 💩. Matters didn't help that I came from a fair complected family where pure colorism is always at play.

Brother this hits home to what I went through as well in 4th grade. My Jewish teacher stereotyped us and tried to pull a “Freedom Writers” by having us step over a line if [insert_stereotypical_black_incident] happened to us. I grew up a good 2 parent household so after like 5 questions she singles me out and snarkily says “oh so you not gon participate“. Big nosed bitch!

Of course dealing with them, we lose. They have real power. We don't. We often want symbolism and refuse to do the things that are mandatory to get power like the Jews have.

People don't understand just how much words matter and can impact somebody's day.

Exactly! This is how I feel about Taharka Bey’s gripe of us using the word “white supremacy”, he feels that it’s a lie that they are supreme over us. My counter argument is that WE ARE OPPRESSED, call it whatever you want but there is a clear hierarchy with white people on top. Recognizing it is the first the step then we can do something about it, calling it something else is just symbolic feel good semantics, we can call it white oppression of blacks… okay it’s still the same thing but too many negroes yearn for symbolic nonsense over taking actual action.
