Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see how a far-right, anti-Black racist like Jeff Landry becoming Governor is a win for the Black residents of Louisiana.
The Black candidate who opposed Landry ran on a reparations platform, but white racists & a few Black YouTubers are over the moon that low Black voter turnout kept him out of office. Side note, if you're celebrating the exact same thing that you're enemy is celebrating, then something is seriously wrong.
Because I worked in government, I could be biased (as I've said numerous times, EVERYTHING in America runs on politics), but I don't think that Black folks not using our political muscle is something that we should be happy about.
