Note: I understand that this video was posted a long time ago but I believe that this video and many other videos that talk about the topic of Racism should be watched and studied regardless of how old the information is (as long as the individual person watching the video finds the information in the video to be constructive) because we still exist in a Global Prison System Of White Supremacy/Racism.


I am not a parent but this video had made me more alert when it comes to me as a Victim Of Racism understanding that I need to be more conscious of the products that I buy and to look for the meanings behind those products and to always look at these meanings through a Counter-Racist Scientific lense:

I noticed this growing up that any of the "black dolls" just looked like they were white girls painted black and that was it. They all had the same hair and the same structure to them. I am all for black dolls, baby dolls, etc. being an option and welcome it but these items need to be made by black folks or they will just be nothing but a cash grab.

I think this is the reason so many black women in America today hate their natural hair too and get wigs and weaves cause they grew up seeing and playing with these dolls. Same thing with the white girls growing up with barbie and having unrealistic beauty standards about their bodies.

I am sure this industry is sicker than we even know. I mean there were those surprise doll things that were girls but if you took their dresses off they had penises.
