I'm sorry to hear this. I was just watching this show yesterday. I was laughing at the way he was fussing at JJ.
RIP to a man who reinforced what a good father figure is supposed to be (we all learned from TV shows, in part, I'm sure) ...
James stood for something , always took care of his family , meted discipline where needed, didn't mince words (I remember when Flo let him have it after he said the non PC "the kitchen and the bedroom") ... I never saw him run away from his responsibilities, even when times got tough ...
Those shows, how do they stay alive so the younger generation can learn what we learned ... Unfortunately, now they gonna see the new Good Times and think thats what's up ... "No sir young blood" 😭
