Posting even though I think his questioning is somewhat flawed ... Black men and women control culture , but the culture is being used against us ... So in that respect, it's only potential power ...

.... Actually, that's kindof an influencer industry (though there may be others that are better monetizers in some industries, I'm not sure) ...

I agree with what is in the caption in that man's picture where he said we control nothing. it is so true. We don't control our own culture. We must gatekeep it. We let anybody in because they seem cool. They take it over and even make them the "goat" of our culture. It irritates me to no end how our folks say Eminem is the goat of rap. We are the best football/basketball players overall, but we don't control it. We are the best singers, and we know who controls that. Same thing with rap/r&b. They always find out who the leaders are or most popular person is and then go to them and threaten them or make them an offer they cannot refuse to be on their side. If we don't want to do what they say, then bad things start happening such as that person being targeted while somebody else who is controlled steps up and becomes the de facto leader. Other folks want power. We do not. That's why they control so much and we do not.

Good question.

Those other groups have their hands on the levers of industry, and we are often shut out. IMHO there is not one industry as a group that we outright control. And yet...

Tech, is directed against us, and we are subjugated. Laws are directed against us, and we are subjugated. Name a field, and it is weaponised against us.

What do we control?

The barriers for entry for certain fields can be difficult, due to this global corrupt system. As the brotha in the clip alluded to, some of us have some money, but we are not dominating any field/industry in the same way other groups do.

What do we control?

Some may argue spirituality. However, many of the places of worship that we frequent, the buildings themselves are owned by other groups.

What do we control?

Nothing tangible at the moment. But to piggy back of a Neely Fuller Jr concept by becoming united independent and controlling whatever area we stand. Admittedly this may come across as somewhat vague, but until we control our own thoughts and actions, we won't be effective controlling an industry.
