I feel like as a woman, I have way too many options. Us ladies can wear all sorts of styles whereas men typically only have sneakers, boots, dress shoes, and sandals. We have all sorts of different styled heels, calf-length boots, open-toe/close-toe, etc.

I have a hard time sticking with one brand because of this. I do love Puma for their sneakers and sandals (flats) though and stick with them for that but in terms of boots, heels, and other types of shoes - I am spoiled for choice!

What are some of your favorite shoe brands?

I'll pretty much wear any brand if it's something I like. For sandals I really like Aldo though. They're affordable and I've had a pair of sandals last for a few years now!
I love Aldo. So many of them closed this year which is sad. They have really good shoes at not too high of a price. They got this pair of chelsea boots I always buy over and over as they are too fresh. I also like their casual shoes too…it’s a really good line. You can also get some good stuff at their sister brand CallItSpring.

I have had my eye on some knee-high boots from them but never bought any shoes from the brand. Do they run normally or do they run big/small? I am thinking of just buying them before they sell out.
Nine west in my experience is fairly standard. I have fairly little feet, i wear a 9 in women's shoes. So Ive found they fit pretty true and comfy to form.

I am short, only wear a 6.5 and that half-size always worries me. I got a pair of sandals from some Italian brand over the summer and because they were clearance, I couldn't return them but they fit too small. Now I am out $40 and stuck with them. Most of my friends have bigger feet than me. Same with family. My short ass is only 5'1 LOL I should have gone up to a 7. But like a 7 in Puma, for example, is on the bigger side for me.

I feel you. Buying shoes that are based international brands(especially Italian and french) is always a crap shoot as they usually run big. And same, I too found that out the hard way but i was able to resell them on ebay thankfully and recoup most of what i spent.
