Fox with rabies. They didn't have to shoot him. I believe there is a window where they can be cured.
I've never seen a case of rabies in real life.

no there is no cure for it. I seen a kid who was infected with rabies, basically turns them crazy and kills them. it's not a pretty sight.

Poor thing!

I got bit by a squirrel when I was a kid. I think I was 5 or 6. Something was wrong with it and I wanted to help it. I had to get a session of painful rabies shots in my behind after that. LOL

You have to get treated right away or it will kill you or the infected animal. The window is very small. It is best to have your dog vaccinated for prevention, most states require it by law for them. Only some states require it for cats as rabies is rare in cats and the vaccination can cause health issues in many breeds.

I have cat's and dog's and they are outside animal's all of them have their shot's. Besides rabies the one thing in my neighborhood we have to worry about is coyotes, you will see them every now and then on our security cameras, just roaming around and they will eat your cat in a heartbeat.

Yeah, you don't go around touching rodents like this. I didn't know better at that age. I always loved animals. I was always bringing hurt ones home and my mom would lose it but when you are grown and know about the infections, rabies, etc. this is a stupid move.
