A lot of guys today don't even possess the basic skills that a man should have. Here are some basic things that I think that a man should know how to do, in no particular order. Feel free to add to the list.

• Basic household repair
• Basic automotive repair
• Read
• Fire and maintain firearms
• Communicate effectively
• Love himself and others
• Excercise sound judgement
• Make decisions
• Control his temper
• Start a fire without matches or a lighter
• Dress a wound
• Listen
