I know meal prepping is a great way to stay healthy, but I find that what I prep on Sunday isn't always what I want by the time we get into the week. I prefer to have a few staple healthy meals that I cycle through during the week instead of making it ahead of time. What do you all do?

I follow the concept of meal prepping but I buy a bunch of meals at Sprouts Farmer’s Market (grocery chain) and eat those through out the week. When I do cook, I usually make 4 different items e.g. Fish, chicken, potatoes, corn, and then make different meal combinations with them. So one day it’ll be fish, corn, and a side salad…next it’s chicken, potatoes, and corn…it allows me to mi it up and not get bored with the food.

That's a good way to do it. You can make a lot of different meals with all of that.

It adds up quickly too. I used to buy starbucks before work every morning until I added up. It was my cell phone bill.

It really does add up. I cringe thinking about how much I've probably spent lol

Yeah it helps me a lot. Now I buy a bunch of precooked chicken breasts, salmon filets, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, and etc at the beginning of the week and then mix up my meals.

This kind of meal prep I see people do where it's 20 containers of the same few meals they'll eat for the rest of the week looks depressing. I'd prefer to cook every other day, but I'm lucky and get sent a lot of food from my mom, aunts, and grandma so I don't have to worry that much about it.

I really should start to meal prep, I could use some control of my diet these days, and I think prepping things would make it so much easier for me. Especially since I tend to pig out most meals, so if I set up a meal, I at least should stick to just what I can eat.

But idk, I love to eat. Especially junk food, why's it got to be so bad for ya? :(
