I'm new here and I only go up to Baltimore every few weeks to see family, is this typical during this season?

More now than ever but I'm very suspicious because of the medical warfare that's going on especially here in Baltimore dealing with John Hopkins and all this experimental behavior going on in the medical profession up here just really really really suspicious of it all

Great PSA, but if that idea hasn't stood before now in the minds of the willing, then may be it is as it should be. Freedom ain't free
It's always been a topic that I've been suspicious of even before covid dropped February 20 20 I was very suspicious of churches giving free food knowing the agenda of churches in the past especially regards to black people FBA I'm very suspicious of it all been suspicious and still suspicious just staying on code

I don't see these pop up in my city, if I did I'd be skeptical too. We have food banks here, run by local people, mostly homeless people go there. I think it's smart to question and enquire where that food comes from before eating it.

We have a local spot that is held at a church that allows people to pay what they can for food items. It is mostly items that are near expiration or have already expired but are still going be fine because they are highly processed. Think salad dressing and what not. I think spots like this are fine because the items are sealed. If you are going to go to a spot that has fresh items or things that are premade/packaged then you want to stick very locally and ask for verification of where the things are coming from. We have a few small farms around here and I feel safe enough getting free produce off them. They sell things from a cart but when it is a day or two out of being useless, they give the produce away for free. I would avoid most places that are inner city and have people just holding signs though. If they don't have an address, it is a red flag.

But I have to ask what is healthy about eating food that's close to being expired I mean we already know that package foods and cans and processed foods aren't good at all anyway and if we just think about it logically if we are putting foods in our bodies that have things in it to make it last long wouldn't that make the digestion breakdown longer mean in that food would last longer and our bodies and probably brought or never ride like that could cause a lot of problems don't you think I'm just throwing it out there just doesn't seem like a healthy choice at all in my opinion of course but that's why we got six zeros.net so we can throw stuff around like this amongst each other

Certain foods have a much longer shelf-life than they state. A lot of items have a "sell-by" date and are good 2+months after the fact. It is a way to cause companies and businesses to spend more money restocking items. They do this with vitamins as well. I understand your concerns. Certain items should NEVER be eaten if they are old such as meats and many dairy items. It just depends on what it is. It is always best to research things. The whole point of offering these items is so that people have access to food at all times. Many people live pay-check to pay-check and having food close to expiration at a very cheap cost is better than no food. You can go into this church and load up a bag for $10. While it is not ideal, it is better than starving.
