I cannot for the life of me figure out why so many people are getting into these poly relationships. Then again after remembering that I studied eastern religions, I understand why they practiced polygamy and it had to do with extending the bloodrite or bloodline. Now that the western community has gotten ahold of the subject matter, it has nothing to do with religion and I've only heard of a small portion giving birth. So that just lives pleasure sex as an option, please tell me I'm wrong. Everytime I see the phrase ENM or Poly, I remember TBA saying 'Get in where you fit in' 😆 🤣 😂. It looks like the people who got picked over are creating a colony or village of their own.

The way I feel is as long as no kids, no animals, and everyone is consenting I don't care what adults do. If 5 dudes want to share 2 women and each other:

It is stupid to me but what works for some, won't work for others. This is just modern Mormon non-sense in my eyes. Having multiple people in a relationship to raise and care for the seed (children, crops, etc) minus all that. So just people wanting to be slutty but in a safe environment. I mean like Jay said, if they aren't harming children or animals, everything is consensual then I don't care but there should be a close eye on these groups if/when children become part of the picture.

I believe in this fully because i think monogamy is unnatural. I understand its more safe but there arr very few animals who only have one partner. I dont knock anyone for having one that they really love either. But even then i think it often leads to cheating because you get mad and then go to the bar get drunk and one thing leads to the other and your on insert talk show here. I dont support cheating though if u agree to a faithful relationship that should be honored. The future i think will be more open and poly and mono will be more scarce.

Intresting thought i dont see myself having children especially not in the west. If i can get the hell of here and go somehwere that i think i can raise them where they wont be second class citicens that might change my view. I dont think i could ever be mono though and i dont see how it is harmful to children to be raised in a poly household as long as the love and support is there. I belive ancient egypt was also.poly and they seem to turned out pretty good 😂

Hmm maybe its because ive lived in a commune before i dont see it as a issue. Its kind of like having a team or a family reunion everyday lol. I do think there still needs to be a head of the family but i think i respond more to a democratic process then authoritive rules.

But the exception is not always the rule. A lot of people can't even raise kids in a healthy fashion in a two parent household. Now we are going to add another parent and add even more potential dysfunction and chaos? I don't think there is one size fits all but I think nature makes it clear how many parents a child needs simply in how many parents it requires to make one. I do believe it takes a village to raise a child but the whole village doesn't need to live in the same house and fuck one another.

Typically children are reared by their mother and father. Her children live at her house. Another wife may step in if the mom is sick or overwhelmed, per her request, but that’s about it.

It’s not for the average person. Each wife needs her own home, and the children must have an inheritance.
