A friend of mine wants me to go with her. She loves Catwoman and is excited to see Zoë Kravitz play her.

I was looking at the reviews and ratings and it seems to be doing well. Just not sure I would be up for it. I haven't watched a Batman movie in years. Just wanted to see if it is actually worth the cost of going to see it or not.

I'm sick of Batman, they keep re-doing this character, the same with Superman and Spiderman. After decades of seeing variations of the same character, I'm ready for some new faces. I think that's why Marvel did so well, they would introduce new characters in almost every movie, and not just villains.
I think DC took notes because the new DC movies coming are full of new characters. I like Marvel but I like the grit DC brings, it's more serious.

Yeah, I used to favor DC growing up. They had a more adult theme behind their stories and it felt more raw and real where Marvel was more "disney-esk". They just keep recycling the same few names though like you said. They need to branch out and do movies about their heroes or villains that don't get enough attention.

I like the actor that is playing Gordon. I can't remember his name but he was the dude from Westworld. Very good actor so I bet he did a solid job in this role.

Dude it is so emo and drab it’s loud ass sound effects then it goes back to the raspy whisper talking. This is one of the worst Batman’s I’ve seen since Batman and robin.

I heard there was a HEAVY focus on it being a detective film which is fine but the dude coming off all emo and depressed, yeah that is not for me.

I agree 30mins can be cut from it, but I think it was a GOOD movie, please bear in mind that I did not watch for the storyline, I went to see this movie for the allegory, and all I saw was a loose relationship to January 6th all over again.

-WS threatened their government with violence over an election they did not want.
-Wealthy White Male has a gutter relationship with a tragic mulatto.
-While saving a BW from her own internal bleeding (failing campaign) with the help of a Black Cop.
-Flooded streets (streets of DC were flooded with rioters on January 6th).

Just imagine watching a detective go from crime to crime with no highs, no lows, just mids. It happens over and over and over and the movie ends. I’m with Jay, it was boring.

They are always trying to over do it with the props costume. Like we already know what he's supposed to look like, there is no need trying to kill it.

Haha, he probably got more gym sessions to beef up his structure for the movie. I'd rate the movie just 7/10 and that's me being too generous.

Damn, sounds like you paid to have your time wasted. This is why I stopped going to the movies years ago. I'd rather wait until they come out. Don't want to waste time or money on this nonsense.
