Fam, I don't know if y'all been hit by these high ass food prices yet, but it's only gonna get worse. Between Russia & Ukraine alone, 30 percent of the world's wheat harvest is just gone off the market this year.

If you got some land or access to it, consider getting some food in the ground. Even if it's just a gang of potatoes and some greens, every dime you save from not having to go to the grocery store, is a dime you can put toward something else.

    I actually researched this.

The best crops you can grow to survive on are potatoes, yams/sweet potatoes, beans, kale, spinach, garlic, onion, and corn.

Potatoes of all kinds store well, same with beans, garlic, and onion. Corn, kale, and spinach can be frozen. You should be able to get everything your body needs in terms of vitamins and minerals from what I mentioned.

Tomatoes are fairly easy to grow too and depending on what region or zone you're in they’re perennial. I grow Mustards, okra, herbs, planted a few fruit trees, peas, and pole beans. I didn't plant potatoes, but thinking now maybe I should. I recommend buying non-gmo, heirloom where possible. Also buy survival seed kits. This crisis is manufactured. We must survive. Thanks for this. I have more stuff to plant.

Sis get you some grow lights, flower pots and grow in your house. They are extremely inexpensive and let's you grow food indoors.

Use what you got to make it love.

Here is a sample indoor grow light. They have plenty of types, price points. Buy seeds, them lil jiffy pods to start your stuff and get at it. A small solar generator will power many of these lights.

This. I have a garden in my backyard, and I'm also growing a small indoor garden indoors. As a bonus, some store bought foods like Romaine lettuce, celery, and some fruits can easily be regrown from scraps!

Ayyyyyyyeee! That's what I'm talking bout. I love leadfarmer and Homestead Heart channels. I also buy garlic, onions, potatoes, uncooked, beans, and other veggies which can be grown from scraps too. This was a great tip. Do what you gotta do to live.
