A friend of mine has a brother, he is 19 years old. He is trying to get big on YouTube and Twitch by way of gaming. He has a decent following but nothing that could sustain him as a career. He still has to work full-time. I have never looked into this all that much. I only enjoy a handful of games myself these days so it isn’t something I could do. I am all for people finding happiness in their career but I feel like this is not something you should aspire for because the reality is that this is a very luck-based market. I think he should focus more on an attainable goal and keep this as a hobby.

I think it's as challenging as being successful with any other type of content on Youtube or Twitch. The thing is that to you something may be unobtainable but that's you, it may be attainable for him. As long as he is not neglecting his other duties, support that man.

I think if he can do it , he should all great things take time
    Yes, I love this approach.

This I think is the key. He can't put all his eggs in one basket cause if that falls through, they all break. I think the best approach is to keep at it but not fully invest in it at once. Take it as it comes. If he sees improving numbers, invest more into it.

Yeah work a 9-5 and then do it on the side and hopefully he can build it into something can replace rather supplement is W2 income. That's what I'm doing here, this is not an easy route and it's not cheap, everything dope in life is takes risk...love, success, etc.

Yup. Sitting and waiting for things to get better will do nothing but if you take small steps in the direction you want your life to go or your career to go, eventually you will get there. It takes commitment and hard work but the payoff is almost always worth it if you stick with it.

real talk but you also gotta be fearless and not afraid to give some shit up that ain't working. people be too emotional when it comes to their business. if shit aint poppin off you need to pivot, if you pivot and it aint working pivot again, if it still aint working then maybe you need to move on. Sometimes the success in some shit is the failure

This is true too. I mean how many people you know hate their job or hate where their life is but they are too afraid to make any changes? They say our greatest growth as humankind happens when we are at our most uncomfortable. Maybe this is why so few people invent things or think outside the box these days. People would rather be comfortable and compliant than take risks.

Yes, I agree. I always say though that those steady people are necessary because those are the loyal people we employ in our businesses. Give them their cost of living raise every year and you got a loyal employee for life.

Yeah doing YouTube or even Twitch is a bit tough. I've tried and yeah, not my thing. You have to be charismatic, have a great personality and be able to talk with chat and just be all around fun. A lot of the people on Twitch these days are doing like just chatting streams where they chat with their fans. It

I think also, one thing you probably need to do, is be different. So many people do the same stuff, that they tend to get buried down the results. Try to find something unique you that no one else is doing. Idk, dress up, get creative. Sometimes you have to be creative to get by. I bet you that Doctor Disrespect dude wouldn't have been popular if he been himself. Play a character. You could also create a virtual avatar if you don't want to be on camera. That's been blowing up as of late.

yeah I never lived like that life way too short. I don’t like having the same problems for more than 6 months. Like you said adversity is what’s gon make you level up people want the rainbow but they don’t want the rain.

Life is a roller coaster truly, gotta be able to go with the ups and downs and not let it defeat you. This is especially true of people and their roadblocks. If you can't smash through it, just find a way to walk around it. No one is worth being held back in life!
