When I see black owned products , I usually try and make it a point to but something from the company, even if it's something I don't need. My biggest issue with a lot of black owned shops and their products is they are almost always subpar (not up to quality) if it's not the presentation and packaging, it's the product itself.
I saw on Twitter a new brand of deodorant called "Fresh Pitz", black owned so I had to try it. They had 3 types, one for men, one for women and one for kids. No alcohol, no aluminum or baking soda in it. Sounds good! So I order one for men and I just received it. It smells good, the packaging was blah, arrived in an envelope, no box just the deodorant in an envelope. You can tell these are generic deodorant sticks with stickers of the company on them.
I understand if you're just getting started, but first impressions are everything! You have to spend money to make money. My suggestion would be to get a designer and have them print your company logo and information on the deodorant holders.
Stickers make it look cheap,or at least get the quality ones that wrap around most of the holder.
I'm always looking to support our people, but come on, you have to put out quality work to stay successful.

Just opened it and rolled it out once and the deodorant just cracked in half...
