If you don't trust people, it's a problem and when you do trust people, it's still a problem. What can we do to make people feel better? I don't really think that there is any. My advice for all would be to look out for yourself first.
Truth. This is why I make people earn my trust and work to maintain it. You give me any reason to doubt you, I will put space between us. Doesn't matter if you are my friend, my family, or a boyfriend.

It makes it easier to cope when you have to rip the bandaid off. For every relationship that I ended, I was prepping for it for a few months so when I finally ended it, it wasn't so painful. I put that distance there and it helps as I slowly end things.
