I've always been ready. My dear Father & Uncles taught me long ago. My husband is no different. He's teaching me tactical training as soon as this boot is off my leg, but we still go to the gun range every weekend, training on every weapon he has. Cleaning, clearing jams, accuracy, etc.

Something worth noting is that gas can't be stored for an extended time. Just replenish your reserves each month and use the older stuff. I agree with everything else. Stock up. Get water filters. Learn how to collect and clean rain water.
