You ain’t lying and people are acting like this shit is cute. This with the stuff Boston dynamics is cooking up is making for a scary future. These will be the police very soon.
He is an "inventor" so you have to expect him to fail at a lot of what he tries. That isn't what worries me. It worries me that this kind of tech could succeed someday and we will have robots running around. Hackers will always be a problem so imagine having some like robot guards or something being hacked by a group and programmed to go on a rampage or something!Don't believe everything Musky boy says or wants to do. He's been known for many false promises. Dude promised people would be flying to Mars by now, he promised a hyperloop railway that likely will never get made, said self driving cars would be safe and are the future, yet they're pretty dangerous at their current state and aren't able to self drive as good as we thought. And if I heard correctly, their self driving car caused one death so far.
He does this all the time, promotes a new product or some obscure idea, then nothing happens. Starlink I think is the only viable thing he's doing at the moment, and I have a feeling that too will be a failure. Because, his plan for that, is to release tons of satellites into the atmosphere, and starlink users will connect to those for internet. But what happens when tons of people access the web that way? It's going to result in super slow internet with more and more people using the service. As well, they constantly need to buy more satellites due to them falling from the atmosphere, which will cost them billions a year. It's just not viable.
I'm just saying, look into the guy, there's a lot of bs ideas he floats around, and yet people praise the dude as this visionary. I just find him to be overly cringy and a liar. I think the only true thing he did, was make a cheap flamethrower. Correct me if I'm wrong though.
I watch this dude on youtube called ThunderF00t, and he has debunked a lot of the stuff Elon says he's going to do and what he wants to do. Like his hyperloop and all that. He uses science to debunk many things.

Yeah if I ever saw this thing I wouldn't leave my house lol
Yup so true. So many entreprenuers fail but they are not as vocal so you don’t know which ventures succeed and which ones failed. He is an "inventor" so you have to expect him to fail at a lot of what he tries. NYPD had the Boston Dynamics dog patrolling the hood already. You ain’t lying and people are acting like this shit is cute. This with the stuff Boston dynamics is cooking up is making for a scary future. These will be the police very soon.
Of course, but I think he believes he can make all of these things, but in reality most of them are impractical or too ambitious. He is an "inventor" so you have to expect him to fail at a lot of what he tries. Idk, what has he really succeeded in that would make us believe he can make robots though? At least ones that can be an issue to humans. Yeah he has shot off rockets, shot off a car in space, advanced electric cars and so on. But I think the stuff he wants to do, is mostly fantasy and never going to happen or work as intended.Yeah but for every failure this dude has he has another success so we have to keep our eye out. Dude might fail on hyper loop but succeed at the T-1000.
For real. One day your autonomous vehicle is going to get pulled over for inspection and that robot is gonna do it. You won’t even have to pull our your ID because it’ll scan the RFIDs and know everyone in the car.

I sure hope you are right. The concept of robots for certain jobs is fine but having them walking around like Bender from Futurama is terrifying. Like could you imagine having a co-worker that is a straight-up machine that will record everything you say and do? People talk about living in this kind of future and how cool it would be. It is not for me. I am not on that Westworld train.Of course, but I think he believes he can make all of these things, but in reality most of them are impractical or too ambitious.
I honestly don't think we'll ever get to a point where we'd be using robot guards. Mainly for the reason you said, because anything can be hacked, so that would be a big security risk. And I don't think we'll ever have robots smart enough to mimic a human. But idk, maybe some crazy genius will figure it out and cause Judgement day, but I don't see it being Musky boy. I don't think this Teslad bot will be made. I think it's more fantasy talk from Musky boy.
I remember this, it was thoroughly rejected. They will try again though.NYPD had the Boston Dynamics dog patrolling the hood already.

It will be done in a way to try to make it look like a benefit to the public.I remember this, it was thoroughly rejected. They will try again though.
Oh I know. The idea does scare me, but I just can't see us having the know-how to make a robot that is nearly human like, at least not yet. But, I'm no scientist, so maybe I'm completely wrong. But I just have doubts that we're close to making it happen.I sure hope you are right. I heard about this too. But, I think with the Boston Dynamics robots, they are mostly run by people or a custom made algorithm or something to do certain tasks, idk (like dance, do certain movements, etc). Like they can't think or do something on their own, they're supposed to be controlled by a person. That's what I heard anyway, as they're kinda like controllable robots. Think like bomb disposal robots, stuff like that.NYPD had the Boston Dynamics dog patrolling the hood already.

But yeah, I would feel the same way if it were a bomb robot or something. Because it means cops can go around and harrass people without actually being there.
They are using algorithms to basically give computers thinking processes. They use places like Facebook to track and store interactions from people all over the world. If they can somehow utilize that and put it in a robot, we are screwed lolOh I know.
