On facebook i came across a group that is helping black people relocate to africa. They argue that whatever your doing in america just do in africa. I think alot of celebrities are going to become dual citicens like samual jackson in gabana. If possible it might be a very good idea you can live in africa a brics country and still be eligible for reparations i think. Ti and nipsey talked about this as well what do you think scam or what? #africaisforafricans

Just so I am clear, do they want:
1. all of us to move back to africa?
2. a specific number of us to move back to Africa?
3. Anyone that can move back to Africa?
4. Other or a combination of the above.
I think its an offer to help any black person who want out of the west and to go home.

Okay, there are literally 1000s of American blacks (as well as a few from the Caribbean) who have moved to Africa permanently. There are American black communities in South Africa and Ghana (Ghana having a few thousand of us there) that I know of. There is a woman who moved to Senegal witih her kids a couple decades ago who is on a lot of expat forums trying to get American blacks to move there.

So, it seems that blacks who want to leave have done it. There is pretty much a black expat forum for dozens and dozens of countries including Africa. I don't see any harm in extra help.

My personal opinion is desire enough won't cut it. You'll need a way to make a living. I've often seen these kinds of things as actually a movement for us all to move back. That I would see as a non starter for a variety of reasons.

From what I have heard and read online, the people who move back to Africa from the US either need to have money to do so or they end up with not much going for them when they arrive in Africa. I think it would be different if they had whole towns and systems set up already where people can find work and open businesses.

I would love for our people to have our own land and space again and for Africa to become a powerful nation but I feel like a lot of these movements may be rooted in racism. Like jewish-Americans and white Americans wanting us to leave. Maybe that is just me.

No that was my thought exacrly a movement like this could be easily coopted by racists who want your house in the states. Thats why i think they made it very clear it is only for those who really want to go home. Also seen there are resettlement communities in west africa for westerners returning home so maybe its like a black walstreet type of situation. And yes unfortunatly its not a charity so you do need money. Maybe turning it into a charity would be a cool idea though. I started crying when i seen a couple who repatrionized from alabama whos child was born in africa. They said there so happy and her mom would be so proud. 💖

I understand wanting to go back to the homeland. I mean people would be able to learn about their heritage and connect with their roots. There is good to be had here but we have to be mindful of where we step and who leads these causes. There are so many evil motives in this world these days.

Whenever I hear 'We should move back to the motherland' I have a few questions.
    1. How does many of us moving back to Africa en masse solve white supremacy in America?
    2. We won't be able to get all 38 million FBAs to Africa anytime soon. The best and brightest are the ones who will be able to move first. So, how does Pookie and Ray Ray fight white supremacy if they can't go?
    3. White supremacy is global. America and Europe (and now China) have been targetting African countries overtly and covertly. So, how does us going back to Africa escape white supremacy? Will moving to Africa stop white supremacy from targeting us? If so, how?
    4. Do we really expect African nations to let us bubble? They stop each other (tribal beefs) now. Does anyone truly believe it will be all love with open arms? Especially if we are prosperous.

    1. It dosent it just gets you out of the heart and maybe into a black walstreet type of situation
    2. Not everyone will want to go but i imagine if you can go and become successful you can reach back like the 2nd underground railroad
    3. Very true, though we are seeing whitebsuppremecy getting bounced from africa dropping the dollar and kicking out the french. U can say brics is another form of that but from all we seen from this organization i would say its intrest in africa is win win cooperation and not economic dominance like weve been dealing with.
    4. Another great problem i think there would be love with the locals but i also think to expect no incidences is not realistic. I guess its a weigh out would u rather deal with local africans or racist police racist gangs racist teachers etc.

And i dont think u need to give up your american citicenship you would just become a dual citicen and have a place to escape when shyt gets real. Also i dont think that america is savable i thibk as nato loses power in the world it will crack down on discent and turn into a white christian ethnonation and the abortion ruling i think supports that. And the now trillion dollar defence spending no doubt to fund and militarize millions more cops to protect the ruling class.

The talk about re-locating to or having dual citizenship in Africa is unreal. I have been living in Europe since thirty-two years and have had contact to many Africans from various countries. After dealing with them, you find that all of them are from backstabbing cultures. They don't want each other to get ahead individually and as a group. They positively hate FBAs because they view us as more privileged than they are. The only thing we can do for them is to constantly let them eat off of us with not even a real "thank you." If Africa is so great, why are they all running to get out of there - drowning in the Mediterranean Sea, being beat up and killed at the Spanish-Morrocan border, being enslaved in Libya, walking in the jungles of South and Central America to make it to the US-Mexican border, marrying old white people..... They don't stand and fight where they are. They flee. I think Africa must be a beautiful place and worth fighting for, but they don't see it that way. So, why would I want to live there? FBAs should continue to do what needs to be done - stay where they are and fight the white Supremacist who have subjugated us for hundreds of years, stole our labor and wealth. There is no real respect for people who flee. Have you ever noticed that the people where the Euro-Americans are coming from, don't claim them. The German people are not claiming Trump, although his grandfather was from there. Neither the Czechs nor the Germans are claiming his children. Although Euro-Americans always want to claim their ancestry here and there, it is not reciprocal. Their ancestors fled and no one in Europe is praising them for that. Prince Harry is a perfect example of that. The British are really trashing him because he has fled. So, moving to Africa is very unrealistic. They will treat and victimize you worse than the white Supremacists at home and not because of the color of your skin, but out of jealousy and hate of what FBAs represent as a people.

I think it could work in small numbers, depending on the country. I wouldn't even eff with Nigeria. No shade, I got 'Naija' homies, but the country itself isn't ready for us at all.

Which countries? Hmm....I would suggest possibly Rwanda. They have gone through a lot of positive changes since the genocide tragedy. They are very pro business. Not sure of other places. Any suggestions? No matter were, no more than a few hundred of us initially so we don't shock the system and where ever we go, as I suggest is to be a positive role model and do good work like charitable work while there.

Small numbers of us in varying countries, all making sure we connect with each other in these places as well as back in the states could work. Over time, I think slowly, you would change the ones who work with us locally and they in turn influence their peoples. I don't think by any stretch it would be Wakanda but it could work, and by work I mean financially and socially viable American black communities in various African countries that all communicate with each other.

Mass numbers? Not a chance but I don't think you need mass numbers.

Liberia is a perfect example of black people being transplanted from America to Africa. It didn't work. There, the transplanted people became the problem.

I am the single FBA in a community of black people. They don't work together among themselves - culturally, in terms of religion, tribal, nationally. They all view themselves as something special. As Tariq Nasheed said, if you have a bag, they would definitely invite you over. As long as you concentrate your energy on helping them, everything is good. Reciprocity they don't understand. I have experienced it and when you get tired of being used, then you really see who they are.

No, we should help ourselves first. Maybe, when they see the positive changes that we bring in our communities and among our people, their attitude will start to change in order for a real pan-africanism to exist. But all the African countries have problems that are now too big too solve and the most prevalent problem is their mommy and zaddy worshipping mentality that keeps them divided and comquered.

i think defidently a brics country prefrebly not close to israel as that will be a war zone for a while and unfortunatly libya got nato fucked. But a country in the brics and belt and road is going to see alot of development in the near future. I know algeria applyed egypt applied and south africa but south africa has problems with sovrinty right now its still dealing with collonialism but i think that will come to an end soon

Why do you believe dual citicenship to be unreal ludacris samual jackson and a few others i cant remember have that. I think you should look at it as having a safe house more than fleeing. I dont think anything is worse than the anti black hatred in america but i respect your view that africa is worse. Not to mention america is losing its mind it wants to fight china russia and north korea now at the same time.

You are mentioning rich people with a lot of money. What you are not talking about are ordinary FBAs who don't have millions of dollars to spare. I know Africans here who go home for a visit and have to have lots of cash for all of the family (even the ones who never did anything for them) as well as non-relatives. These people feed off of the hard work of others, not wanting to understand that a better quality of life is paid for in most European countries with a high standard of living.

If the Africans in Africa treat their own family members outside of Africa like this, how are they going to treat you - people who are perceived as having more than them??? They want you to share your wealth, but they will cheat you at every turn. Fact, not fiction. This information I have from African friends who are native born and grew up in their country and now live outside of it. At home everyone sees the difference immediately and try to cheat them upon arrival until departure.

I think this depends on what country you go to. Also how recent is this information your working with because alot of these countries are just now becoming sovreign so as the economic devestation from the west dies down i imagine the jelousy and survive at all costs mentality will to. So i dont think you can paint the whole motherland with such a broad brush especially with all the changes that have been happening recently.

So, what country would you suggest because I know a lot of people from various countries in Africa and they all seem to paint the same picture, no matter where they come from - Nigeria, Ghana, Togo, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Somalia, Kenya, South Africa, Tanzania, Mali, Cameroon, Liberia, Gambia, Namibia, Zimbabwe, the Ivory Coast, Uganda, Mozambique, Rwanda, Cape Verde and the Democratic Republik of Congo. I know people from all of these places, and not just one individual, and none of them think to go back home and live. Many avoid going back to their homelands very often because they know a multitude of hands will be stretched out to take from them, starting at the airport.

I think you are romanticizing Africa and African people. I see how they deal with each other here. Things are changing there, but who are changing them? I see a lot of illegal African young men here in Europe, either selling cheap things no one really needs or begging. It's hurtful. The legal Africans here who are working, do not stand together as a community and definitely don't help each other without financial compensation. If they have valuable information that could help their own people with here, they will not pass it on. They come from that culture. Those who often travel to their homeland, go there to show off, not help anyone with anything unless it is their immediate family and sometimes not even them. Those who travel home and want to help, the locals want the visitors to do everything for them. They are neither willing to invest in or help themselves, but a hand out is always good.

A Ghanian girlfriend told me how she went home to her village to visit her people. She is not rich, but has some saving. Every rainy season the road to the village is so muddy, a person sinks knee deep into the mud. She was willing to pay for half of the road to be done to alleviate this problem. The villagers were not willing to put up the other half of the money. They meant, she lives in Europe, she flies home to visit her people, she must have enough money to pay for everything. Needless to say, the road is still the same.

My best friend is from Kenya. She built a house for her mother and took care of her. Her mother was a diabetic with an amputated leg. My best friend has three other siblings. One of his siblings was doing very well at the time. Her maternal uncles and their families are doing very well. She took care of her mother for over twenty years alone. Her abandoned nephew was included in the deal, although his mother was financially capable of taking care of him. She put her younger brother through school. He and his wife lived with her mother and benefitted monthly from the money she sent home, although they didn't properly take care of the mother and the house. She had to kick the brother and sister-in-law out and find a non-relative (for pay) to take care of the needs of her mother as well as her house. When he mother died three years ago, it was she alone who paid for the funeral, the reception afterward and the grave. No one shelled out a cent. Her sister even solicited donations and tucked the money in her own pocket. It was not long after that the calculating relatives who had never done anything for her started calling. They had calculated that she must have extra money because she didn't need to take care of her mother anymore. The calls are still coming - three years later. How sick! These are two stories of many. My information is very actual. Practically every African I know who goes to his/her homeland for a visit tells me how they are perceived as cash cows. You want FBAs to be a part of that? Really? And we have no connection there except for some ancestry and the color of our skin? Interesting!

Africa is changing, but it hasn't changed that much. The Europeans, Americans, Chinese, Russians, Japanese. Jews and Arabs are still there, getting and taking everything for nothing. The Africans are too busy white mommy and zaddy worshipping to get those people out of there or use them like the Chinese did with the West. Research an article about the Kindergarten system in Djibouti, one of the poorest African countries. The French are in control of everything and cook up tribal differences. The people there have nothing. Then, research some of the richest sub-Saharan countries and read what they provide for their poor people. Nothing. After you read several articles, let me know which country you want to have dual citizenship with and have a residence there.

I don't think its a far gone conclusion. I also think after reparations, all of a sudden you are going to see dual citizenship open up. If for nothing else to see some of that bag FBAs got.

Anyway, while I don't think it will happen right away, when or if American blacks settle in any number of countries, there will be intermixing and marriages. There will be a lof a half FBA/Half native kids, etc, over time, its just normal for FBAs to become more entwined into the fabric of any given society and if we move right from start, with a plan, I don't see why its not a possibility down the road. Its not about convincing the people, its about convincing politicians.

Also, Africans don't excpect the same from the diaspora. So, while I would agree it won't happen right away and it may be difficult, a foregone conclusion it won't happen isn't impossible. One nation does it and the others see how much of a positive blacks from the diaspora are, the rest will follow in time.

It's not a forgone conclusion, but when FBAs get their own things together and are successful, others will fight and know they can win. Then, a cooperation between black people all over the world could be possible. I wouldn't count so much on intermarriage though. My daughter is half-Nigerian and the Nigerian community here has never seen her as one of them unless they want something from me or her. Maybe, in their own country, it might be different.

The Africans I know here are too dysfunctional for me to ever want to live there. Of course, they are upset when I as an FBA say that, but they forget that they say that themselves. Every time they go home, there are always some stories of people in their homeland trying to take advantage of them. My best friend from Kenya also believe that I look down on Africans when she does that more than I could ever do. I say always what I see and they all get butt hurt pretty fast about it. Then, they bring out arguments like white Supremacists do and they have never been to America. I don't criticize them about their life in Africa because I have never been there to observe them. I see what goes on here. That is enough for me.

I don't think Shaka Zulu methods can rescue them. Colonialism is deep in their soul, especially the Francophone Africans. They just don't believe in themselves, for the most part. The white man has told them they can't do anything without white help and they believe it.
