The US is supposedly attempting to do a prisoner swap to bring Griner back home, but so far I haven't heard a whole lot on that. She got 9 years for drug possession. She is stuck in Russia for the foreseeable future. I could see Russia keeping her there as long as possible before they agree to a prisoner swap.

Do you think the US will be able to get her out? I guess Russia is taking their sweet old time in cooperating, so who knows what is going to happen at this point.

The article below discusses that they're still working to get her out, but they have to wait for some appeal stuff in the courts to go down first before they entertain the idea of a prisoner swap.

Yup, if it was some white chick, or white person period, they would be all over that shit and would have had them back by now.

I think what could happen, is that Russia will request more prisoners be returned on their end for her. I heard there was another one from the US that they were trying to bring home as well but forgot who it was. I think it was a reporter, could be wrong.

And Russia will get their way too, they'll request a bunch of people in return, and we'll get Griner and that reporter. I bet Russia would be like that.

Like Hispanics have a bigger population in this country yet they have smaller numbers in prison even though they have more gang violence, more illegal activity, and are constantly flooding our border. They should be the ones mostly populating g prisons when you think about it. But they are protected by politicians for the same reason... cheap or free labor.
