When I was younger, I would dress up and go door to door for candy. Standard childhood experience.

As an adult, I really don't do anything. I am not into the party scene and as much as I do enjoy dressing up, I am not down to go to parties. If I happen to work on Halloween, I will wear some cat ears or something. The clinic I work at allows some minor costume wear which is fun. I would love to be able to pass out candy but I have to wait until I have a proper house for that. Hoping I can swing something next year. Even if I have to get a friend to pay "rent" and do a house share with me. It would be worth it to finally own property. That and I'd love to decorate for the holidays.

Anyway, do you do anything on or for Halloween? Do you have any plans this year?

It depends on if my homie hits me up, we used to do the pub crawl but we haven't done it in a couple years. I'm not much of a partier either so I might just throw a little costume contest in the Facebook group I admod.

I'm a father so celebrating it is a must do for me. I'm going to take my lil man trick or treating, he wants to go as Venom this year. I want to dress up as Mario and Luigi but I can't find a good Mario costume. It seems like all the costumes are cheap things that they can pack into a bag. It's just the costume design printed on fabric.

We do the same here. We have a tradition of drinking cognac and then heading out to the local maze. My fellas and I have the best time ever.

Check on etsy. I have a few friends who only get their costumes on there. There are some great designers and costume makers on the platform. You pay more but you get some solid costumes out of it. If I dressed up, that is where I would shop. I don't have the skills to make my own.

Yeah that's actually a genius idea. I'm going to check it out because I want to wear a costume but I want something of quality. Since I'm taller than my son I will be Luigi and he'll be Mario.

Let me know if you end up getting anything and it is good. I like to keep track of sellers on places like that who do a good job so I can recommend them to other people.
