On a one to one basis, I've met absolute ridaz. One in particular, tough Italian American loyalty tested since 1st grade. Our neighborhoods were next to each other. We were on the same little league and pop warner football team since we were 7, full back and halfback. Rare but it happens. A white boy called me the N bomb in 4th grade, he wanted to stomp him out (yeah, he spent a few years in and out of prison later on....lol). He always says he got a bed ready for me if I'm in town and need to lay up. Not the 'wigger' type either, just the type that if you grew up with each other and shared experiences, each others family knows each other, overnights at each others houses, neither of us knocked on each others door, we walked in, his parents treated me like one of them, mine too, would send either to the store to buy something if you happened to be there, race, etc, is not even a factor. We racism obviously but we didn't think or talk about it, as it was a non factor.
