This LA Council racist meeting scandal is not an isolated incident and must not be treated as such. We've seen various, non-stop displays of anti-Black racism from the Latino community and other non-Black groups time and time again. From the likes of the Soho Karen in NYC, George Zimmerman, white nationalist and white supremacist Nick Fuentes, Enrique Tarrio of the Proud Boys, Nikolas Cruz (racist mass school shooter of Parkland, Florida), Ted Cruz, George Lopez, Tekashi 6ix9ine, Latino NK (N1GG3R KILLER) gangs that terrorize Black people throughout California and elsewhere, Fat Joe disrespecting Black Americans by falsely claiming Latinos created Hip Hop "50/50", Gina Rodriguez saying the n-word, Jennifer Lopez screaming "what about Latinas" when Black people get a piece of the pie, and countless more examples. - @ART

I wouldn't be surprised if she reappears or is reelected in stone other capacity in the future ...

I remember hearing "hey chango" while walking in a small Mexican town .. Surprised me, probably my first realized experience with overt racism in a foreign country ...

I remember seeing lips as part of a costume in the outside market (marked Basketball Player)

... Latin countries never had a civil rights movement ... Its rare to see black ppl on authentic LA TV, unless its showing ppl from the US ...

Yber have a long way to go ...

The Democrats are only upset that she got caught so I can see her popping back up. But also she’s just a tool and we know what WS does with its tools when it’s done with them.

I really wish the Black's in California were more codified, my Father's side of the family are Angelenos, I have family in Oakland also. None of them messed with Mexicans / Latinos, they knew way back then that the Mexicans weren't Kool.

We are getting more on code but our numbers are reduced. We're really no different than the greater Black community. We were on the Democrat plantation since the Civil Rights Movement and we are slowly waking up from our slumber.

I think the last stronghold for this will be:
    1. The Coongressional Black Caucus. If there is enough push back in their districts, they will stop talking about it except for those with large Latino populated districts (Maxine Waters in LA can't get elected and piss them off for example).

    2. The nationally recognized black organizations such as the NAACP, etc.

Once these two stop, its pretty much a wrap but it will only happen from the grassroots up.

Latinos look out for their own. If given the option between helping a black man or a white man, they would help the white man. Why? They believe they can gain more wealth by helping him. This is the truth. This is the reality. We need to support our own. Let them worry about themselves. Let them get stabbed in the back by the white man. The only thing we have in common with these people is the democrats using us both for votes. That is it. That is where you can form support. Outside of this, they need to get to stepping.

Well said. They want us to stay at the bottom.

Yep. Tired of sellout people and organizations.
