Who would you say is the most overrated sports star today? It can be anyone who's currently playing or who retired in their prime. One played that comes to mind is Odell Beckham Jr.. He was a huge talent from the start and then injuries and other issues kinda roughed him up. He kinda had a resurgence with the Browns then the Rams and now he's a free agent. Makes you wonder if he'll land on another team anytime soon.

I'll also say Aaron Rodgers, even though the dude is one of the best out there, he only has one super bowl ring to show for it and I wouldn't say he's near GOAT status. That would be reserved for the likes of Tom Brady and a few others.

Just out of curiosity, your thoughts behind what overrated means is a player who is in the GOAT conversation but shouldn't be?
Sorry had to correct that.

Tiger Woods. Guy would have been the GOAT by now. Two things happened. His father passed, who was his ethical/moral compass and he broke up his marriage by chasing Becky in these streets.

A damn shame. He was on his way to really being the GOAT in golf and I would have loved it because it would piss off white people. I always looked at him sideways because just like a lot of mixed people, they are fully accepted by the black community but its not good enough, they have this emotional need to be accepted for the white in them, when historically that ain't happening.

I would say Zlatan Ibrahimovic. He's a good player no doubt, scored a lot of incredible goals while playing for PSG and his short time in MLS. But, he's a loud mouth too which is something I never liked about him. All of his accolades, he's never won the UEFA Champions League or won any national team trophy.

Champions league, I can see the point, but its a bit unfair for his national team. It's Sweden. If he was a skier or ice hockey player that would be a point.

In football (soccer), I'd say Harry Maguire and in the same category as Zlatan, a spent force, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Mo Salah? Okay, Liverpool is having a bad season but he's still a monster.
Not that he is a bad player, quite the opposite. However, after paying attention to him in both last seasons AFCON final and Champions League final, he has very quiet. Had little influence on either game. He is very good, but I dont think that he is amazing.

Dude has made moves and I can respect that but people are acting like he is one of the greatest athletes in history. Dude just happened to have a good manager and knew how to discipline himself. He is still a douche bag.
