2nd degree felony for attempted suicide in North Carolina. (5 to 20 years)
If you are dumb enough to get close to a grizzly, you are stupid but should you actually be punished for it? I mean if they just let people play stupid games, they will win stupid prizes all on their own. No need to punish them.
I feel like the grizzly case must have been used to make a point. Obviously they don't want people getting mauled by bears because they think it's ok to get up close and personal. Not sure why someone would be dumb enough to do that though lol
I'm going to guess at Yellowstone park it's taken very seriously. Probably something to do with "don't feed the bears". They are probably fed up with people getting too close to them. I kinda view it like when people jump into the enclosure of a zoo or something to get near an animal. I think yeah, they should be arrested for that, because they're also risking the life of the animals. Because if they're attacked, they may have to put that animal down as well. So I'm all for charges coming in for that sort of thing.
In this case though, I think a fine would be good enough. :D
I believe it. A lot of these states have really weird old laws that are still on the books. The fact that anyone could be jailed for attempting suicide is really messed up.
I think NY has a similar law too.

I don't have a strong fear of bears and I know the worst thing you can do is panic. It is best to say put and let the bear do its thing if it is being passive like in the video. I'd be more worried if I saw a bear with a cub. lol
I would never go near a bear in Russia. They are on some other kind of level! LOL We have had black bears in the area where I live. They rarely do anything to people. I think the only time they will attack is if they have a baby or two and feel threatened. We had some people a few streets over feeding stray cats and it attracted a damn bear into the area. He was hanging out here for a few weeks going into people's garbage at night but if you saw him and came out of your house, he'd run like his butt was on fire lol
Yeah, they are more scared of us. This is why you always see them in videos with people giving them food. So long as they don't think you are a threat and are giving them some food, they are chill. That is why I was never bothered by having them around here. I think in the last 10 years there as only been one case of an attack and it was because the bear was being provoked.
I've always heard that bears are disgusting. They are always dripping with pee and crap in their fur and getting scratched by them is almost 100% going to become infected.
They aren't clean animals but not many wild animals are. I mean you can get cat scratch fever from your cat if you let it go outside and cats are considered to be a pretty clean hygienic species. What I find interesting though is if you let a cat or dog lick your wound, it helps it heal faster. They have cleaner mouths than we do. lol
Yeah, but they can carry diseases. I think it depends. Like you can get sick from keeping chickens. I believe the cleanest bird species is the crow overall in terms of keeping itself clean and not spreading illnesses.

Chickens are nasty animals. They eat anything and crap wherever they want. Yuck.
A lot of people make jokes about chickens cause they are smart enough not to drink water after they pooped in it but they continue to poop in it. lol I like eggs and would love to have fresh eggs daily but I don't think I would be able to keep them. My uncle has a dozen or so on his farm and he always tells the family how stupid they are lol
I hear you. They are very unclean. We excuse them because their legs are so good after marinating is BBQ sauce!
I love a good thick chicken breast grilled to perfection in some sweet bbq sauce. Man, it is too damn early to be craving chicken! I didn't even eat breakfast! lol
I've done it myself when I had leftovers. I even added eggs to the meal for extra protein. Screw cereal and pancakes, I am more into protein for the first meal anyway!

Breakfast is really light for me. Usually coffee and carbs.
Been a while since I had McD's breakfast. I used to get it a few times a week and it started hitting my waistline and making me feel ill. I had to give it up. I loved their sausage biscuits tho. Just the plain ones. The chicken ones were good but I preferred the other. I'd get one of those, hashbrowns, and drink a small coffee. I remember looking up the calories for that prior to cutting it out my diet and I was floored. It was something like 1,000 calories. No wonder I was gaining weight! lol
