LOL..why? This is done. You want back and forth bullsh*t. I've said my peace. You said yours and so did others. I'm not going to be baited into a tit for tat never-ending debate. Those that say 'He got RCNAL' always had your point of view...lol. That's a win? Visa versa. Unless you got people like myself who like Tariq saying that its self masterbation. Same for me. And I don't fap so I am letting you all go on as you seem to need to argue a moot point.
Yes, you and others will frame it as giving up. Don't give a f*ck. What I said and what you said can be interpreted any kind of way by the forum. Some will say you won/made points, some will say I have. And as I stated above it will be those who already had a view one way or the other. That's as real as it gets.
I will say this. Doesn't matter you or I say, one thing for sure....so far, Tariq voice gets bigger. And real talk? I said this before. Bey, whomever, those with small platforms. It amounts to a tree falling in the woods and no one is around to hear it.
Unless he comes up with something I and others who are regular listeners and support the projects think it's enough to abandon. I supported Dr. Umar until he did too much by my standards and it must be a shared standard with 1000s others because he's not been as big. I supported Cynthia G several years ago, even donated until she started tripping and had on a former Tariq employee coach file a lawsuit against him.
Until you or others can do that, its the same. I go where the work is. Simple as that. I like Bey actually. I don't listen to Mechee X but the little I've seen she is down for our people. There are people who don't like Tariq who I think are good people.
Frame this however you want. At the end of the day, you and I (and the rest) are random n*ggas on a forum. No power over anything or anyone other than you and yours. So, gotta pardon me if I'm bored. I left the debate, y'all carry on. If you wanna call it a win, tap out, whatever, free do so. This horse been beaten more than a runaway slave.
I saw this topic still trending on here and thought some new info or whatever, but its just back and forth 'what about ism'. So, I'm like 'meh'.
Unless you got some new CAREER ENDING info on Tariq, new videos of Bhaddie Kelly only debut on here, or next week's lotto numbers, not much else can get me back...not even insults. LOL
All that being said, I respect the hell out of your (and others who have your view) commitment to the cause, that won't change. Just wanna make that clear. Not anyone's enemy who is down for this. This isn't that serious. Just to be clear and if its seen as something it really isn't. We agree on the essentials and that's good enough fo rme.

I'm just now listening to last night's episode. The "Smooth FBA" guy who called in to defend Tariq around the 1hr12min mark sounded really familiar. Maybe it was the Caribbean accent, maybe it was because he started claiming Moor during the convo, or maybe it was him landing a plane. I can't picture where I heard that stuff before.

I don’t think there is anything inherently wrong with that model because without the crowd fund the product wouldn’t exist.

I'd prefer both camps keep it moving. Tariq is way too busy to keep the beef going but Bey seem like the type is gonna be talking about this forever if what I've heard about him going on about someone for two years. Damn. I thought I was obsessive compulsive.
My advice to Bey would be use this added attention to build your brand and message.
He won't but it's my advice. Tariq will have moved on to making the hip hop history movie, a 2nd FBA convention and Bey will still be talking about his receipts on Tariq and showing up at Tariq's movie premiers and conventions and very few people are going to care. At least in any numbers. And as Tariq grows in influence it will look more like hating even though it isn't.
Think strategically Bey. Put emotions aside and play 3D chess.

Apparently, Tariq has a lot of free time to write, record, and animate "funny" skits to sidestep the serious questions Taharka bringing up. Is Taharka dwelling on this too long? Maybe. It's easy to say that he is, but Tariq broadcasted to the Youtube world that he's a sex offender. And ever since, Taharka been getting nasty messages and even having his real life clients asking him about it. For something that's not true, that is tough. That can really f*ck you up mentally. Even though Takharka proved that he wasn't. --me, personally, I don't understand the paperwork. But I assume if he was a sex offender, the state wouldn't have given him sole custody of his sons. That's just my logic.
To your point, sheep gonna be sheep. It is what it is. And I'm not even sure Taharka's endgame is to wake them up. But I can't tell a man how to respond or handle a situation when someone tries to publicly kill his character. Idk much about Taharka, but from what I gather, he's really about work in his community, and Tariq made some low blows that not only affect Taharka but the people he's actively helping.
Not sure how or when this thing is gonna end. But as far as we know, Taharka doing these broadcasts could be his way of venting instead of flying to Cali and laying hands on this dude for real for making those nasty accusations. Who knows.
What if Taharka successfully links Tariq to the Marcus Sanders that killed that man? I wouldn’t think that it was a waste of time. I would think it would be good information to know that a snitch is now the supposed leader of the reparations movement.

I'll say this one more time in a different way. Tariq's impact on the fight against white supremacy, far, far exceeds his negatives, so until that changes for me, I'm supportive.
Dr. Umar has gone down in legitimacy, in my opinion in large part due to his ego, but I think no one talks about the need for and no one advocates for Black Love more than he does, so I wish him the best. It's needed. I don't wish him to fail. I won't further contribute to school but I want him to get it. It's not a deflection just another example of what my personal criteria is. We are better off with Dr. Umar than without.
If someone else who has less flaws than Tariq comes along and has a bigger impact, fantastic. But its not zero sum game. Tariq can still be around, still be effective and someone else can still be a bigger influencer.
Again, I have no problem with pointing out his flaws, I disagree with him on a few things as I do Jason Black who I watch and donate to regularly.
I just think the Tariq criticism are over the top and almost as petty as he can be. Just that. It's masked in other language similar to 'just pointing out inconsistencies'. Really? It's like we're stupid....lol real talk. It's more honest to say you just don't like dude and want to see him gone. Denying it looks like cap to the rest of us. It really does. But whatever. The criticism also borders on, hints at, if not directly calls on anyone who supports him as sheep or similar language.
Any action that talks to reparations for FBAs, calls out white supremacy, etc, from anyone, including this site being one tool is always a good thing. Large and small, in any way, its ALWAYS a good thing. The Washington rally did that. The museum will do that. Bey's non Tariq message does that. Dr. Umar does that. Meechee X does that. You all do that in your own personal spaces and relationships like I do. All of it is needed and important.
So, I'll try and keep my promise to myself and stay out of this thread. The whole Bey v Nasheed thing is silly. Tariq is silly to keep going and Bey is silly for stopping his usual message and spending all this time and energy on Tariq including disrespectfully showing up at the rally when that should have been an event that is a DMZ zone, neutral, no beefs moment.
So, y'all carry on. I'll try not to 'invade' again. I felt silly even making this post but I responded prior and thus thought I should try a last final that is hopefully not like the 'last' Halloween movie and then a sequel comes again.

It’s not. Twitter is not going anywhere it’s just sensationalized BS. These tech companies be running at a loss and so he is probably shaking it up to get it in the black.
Liberal hate Elon and they are putting their faux outrage on display. The only major change that we as consumer have been able to see is his stupid ass check mishap. Other than that we are taking opinions from individuals that are 3 to 4 people removed from the impacted. Elon is gutting everyone but the people required to make it run and he is going to build it back leaner.

I hope Twitter dies a quick immediate death. They suspended 5 of my accounts for simply telling the truth about white people. I hope this a fail for Elon but a chance for 6 to have new people migrate to the platform.

I don't think Twitter can succeed with the plans Musk wants to do. From what I heard, it sounds like he wants to make it where in order to see anything important you need to be verified. Those who aren't verified, are then left out. I don't even think they can view verified users content. That's what I got out of the live interview he did explaining it.
I don't think it'll shut down, but I don't think he will follow through with this plan, because it sounds like it would hurt it. I think the article below explains it better:

If Twitter was left the same it would not be able to survive due to the credit crunch. Most zombie companies will start dying off in 2023 because they won’t be able to get funds to prop up their insolvent businesses.
What Elon is doing may end up being what will save Twitter despite what people think. He is doing it in a f’d up way and I don’t agree with his frantic behavior but big tech is propped up on the feds pumping cash into the system.
The fed said it’s going to be removing $86B a month in 2023.

Here's the deal why can't both of these brothers be truthful. They both make good points. Two things can be true at the same time.

What does that mean? Taharka is saying Tariq is an agent. We don't want both to be truthful. If Taharka is correct then Tariq needs to be thrown in a dumpster.
Watching this from the beginning and it is BAD. Taharka is grasping at straws and I'm getting a hint of jealousy from him. This will bring a lot of doubt about anything he finds out regarding Tariq in the future. If anyone still finds him credible.
