I’m late in posting this but it hurt my heart. He was so iconic as the Green and White Ranger and it’s horrible to see that he went out like this. I hope he finds peace now.

Jason David Frank (Green Ranger) Has Passed Away
So it was suicide? I heard it was suicide, but no article I read stated it was suicide outright, just that they haven't confirmed how he died. I wouldn't expect him to commit suicide, because he was always cool with fans and seemed like he wanted to be there. He was probably good at hiding his depression though.
JDF was a huge part of my childhood. Power Rangers was a big thing in my house growing up, most of us kids watched it.
I didn't know he went through a divorce recently. That could have pushed him to doing this, but I think there's more. Maybe he was diagnosed with something bad and had limited time left. I remember when Robin Williams died, he committed suicide because he found out he had Parkinson, or was it Alzheimer's, I don't remember. But I guess it was already starting to affect him, and he couldn't live with it.
