Dr. Umar Johnson questions REPARATIONS for 'mentally ill' Black Americans 👀 Fmr @Fly Nubian Queen
This fool is clearly on the wrong side of history and since I did donate $50 to that school? He needs to focus on that and NOT on our business. Isn't he a GD tether anyway?Dr. Umar Johnson questions REPARATIONS for 'mentally ill' Black Americans 👀 Fmr @Fly Nubian Queen

That school should've been up and popping by now. This fool is clearly on the wrong side of history and since I did donate $50 to that school? He needs to focus on that and NOT on our business. Isn't he a GD tether anyway?
He’s Cuban.sometimes I question if umar is a tether
Wait then why does he say he descend from Fredrick DouglassHe’s Cuban.
Let me be more precise, part of his lineage is from Cuba. He may still have part of his lineage from the USA.Wait then why does he say he descend from Fredrick Douglass

I can agree with your pov especially as, I view the stimulus as a social experiment..... It's just beyond me that a man of such STATURE'erere, with so many degrees couldn't articulate better. There’s a point somewhere deep down there but he didn’t say it properly. Reparations should be a comprehensive programs that’s more than just a cash dump. There needs to be educational programs, rehabilitation programs, business grants and training, IN ADDITION to cash. I believe that was what was trying to be communicated.

Well if we are being precise Cuban and Puerto Rican are nationalities and many different ethnicities and races exist under those nationalities. I think it's to say he is of Black Cuban descent which is essentially African if we keeping it a buck but I think we need to move away from saying these Caribbeans are automatically Black. That's how we started calling Sean Paul Black and other people.I can agree with your pov especially as, I view the stimulus as a social experiment..... Sidenote Cuban is African... Blonde hair blue eyes Cubans and Puerto Ricans are products of a social experience, same thing they're trying to do to Black Americans whitewash out the bloodline with European ....
I'm pretty sure Cubans are Caribbeans, not Africans, so by African I'm guessing you mean Black?Cuban is African
Correct I get it... I didn't mean to lump Puerto Ricans in there which Puerto Rico is a US Territory..... They were brought over on the same boat rides ... .... ... Now we're down to rabbit hole that I'm sure nobody really cares to go down... But finding our Roots is a really good documentary... Yeah... Yeah IMO all Blacks in the diaspora are African so it's all water under the bridge. Some people get upset about that but can't prove anything to the contrary.Correct I get it... And we need to spend/invest as much with each other as possible. There’s a point somewhere deep down there but he didn’t say it properly. Umar went and tricked that money off in the DR. The school will never open. I'm waiting for the tax lien to hit and they come snatch the buildings away. We are going to hear him go on a rant about "the man" trying to stop the FDMG school from opening.am so sick of Umar, especially since he made such disparaging comments about FBA, reparations, responsibility & good stewardship of monies. The following is a purchase made by a childhood friend and close associate who wants 2 do more with education but while “building out” educational components is diversifying the property to maintain the facility. Nevertheless these are photos of the Jeb Amen Ra Institute. He is FBA/Freedman & he Got it out of the Mud, no donations, no asking people or contractors to do anything for free or donate time, materials, etc. He has also accomplished the purchase & necessary renovations to market this facility within the last 3-5 years, while other people have been begging for 5-10 years. He simply rolled up his sleeves, painted, swept, hammered, cut grass &
Excellent mutha f’n points. Reparations has to be a New Deal type plan not a COVID stimulus payment or else it will freaking fail.He didn't communicate that well. But there's a couple of solid points he made.
-you can't achieve successful reparations without separation. otherwise, you're just dumping the money back into your oppressor. Currently, we don't own anything in this country.
-capitalism is based off exploitation. We just witnessed what happens when the "lower" class receives money, inflation happens to lessen its value of it to keep the wage gap.
-the black community has to operate as a nation within itself to be successful. for example, like we should support 6Z over twitter. B1 mindset is still a minority, and the majority of our community still has an indoctrinated, all-inclusive mindset.
Are we owned reparations? Yes, absolutely. Will we get it? I think we will. And I think it's gonna be bigger than we ever imagine. I just don't think we will get it politically. I think there will be a day we will force their hand and they will have no choice but to give it to us. America is not gonna give it to us peacefully. That's my opinion.
Dr. Umar was the wrong person to have that conversation with. The school is an awesome idea but very poorly executed.
But it's good to see more black people at least having that conversation and thinking about what reparations look like.
