SMH.... A lot.... ☯️ .... And I have been RAISED to be an independent Black American Woman..
Even watching my family members struggle through the welfare system forced to disown any male relative that might keep them from receiving benefits. Even after several failed relationships myself. I remain thankful that MOST are still my brothers to this day... I BELIEVE IT'S A CONTRIBUTING FACTOR TO THE LABEL OF BEING "ANGRY BLACK WOMEN". I often find myself inferior yet trying to do things ☯️ that my male counterpart could easily accomplish... luckily their compassionate and they just come along shaking their heads and help no REGULARLY but often. I believe DNA 🧬 has genetically given us different perspective on things not just physically. ... And I really hope this response doesn't sound sexist because I'm not, I can respect a man that likes to be in the kitchen just as much as I can respect a man who builds houses. Because nine times out of 10 he has a clever way to cut the cooking & CLEAN time down. And picks BETTER material than I when, building houses 🏘️ I don't know I still believe there's a top for every pot 🍲

What a story. I'm sorry to hear about the bad relationships 😔 I'm happy to see you learned how counter productive the "I don't need a man" mindset is may I ask when you realized you were told nonsense that was presented as something that would be the best thing since sliced bread

Long ago.like age 10.. I'm a fraternal twin but I was always the chunky baby until my twin brother hit puberty ☺️
... So, I started researching stuff for myself at 16. Although I don't believe in gender roles but I do believe that genetically we each possess different attributes that help build society.

I've said this before. One of the byproducts of this whole B1, etc, movement is it will organically change us socially and culturally.

Culturally we have accepted ratchet and street life as the norm. As this grows, black empowerment, reparations for FBA, etc.

When some of the Pookies and Ray Rays start adopting B1 mindset, they will stop if not greatly slow down the multiple baby mamas and other actions that make us weak culturally. It's going to be hard for you to be taken seriously if you are out there in the streets. Or even if you have a job and are not improving and moving forward financially.

The one thing I like about Jason Black's program (it's not a show...haha) is that just maintaining the average decent job: the counter at Fed Ex, head of the prepared food counter area at the super market, customer service/bill pay counter at Verizon, etc, jobs that were seen as decent but not great, will no longer be seen as good enough by black and men and women.

The men will start to step ish up just to be taken seriously. And that is needed. With the exception of Professor Black Truth because we can't confirm, the big 3/4 in this space, Tariq, TBA, Professor Watkins are all multi-millionaires.

It's going to be hard to come into the space talking black empowerment and be taken seriously if you are making money from the dominant society driving a truck for DHL. You are going to have to prove to everyone that you are already a producer.

My own circle of homies motivate me. Over the last several years they have all improved their financial positions, and the unsaid vibe is if you are not moving forward and are just staying stagnant we don't really respect or f*ck with you as much. And low key, don't really listen to what you say about current issues.

And I'm talking about the men. The sistas can be in the aforementioned jobs. Not tryna sound sexist but the men are the ones who are expected to be on their grind making at or well over an income level that qualifies as a producer.

So true, when the culture makes the full shift, a woman twerking in a restaurant will be looked at how it would be looked at in the 50’s. Like:

We are seeing the shit pop off now in real time. All the smoke all the athletes were getting for sticking up for massa jerry shows how far we have come.

I think the switch is going to be quicker than we think.
