What are the scariest horror games that you know about or have played? I've played Alien Isolation but that's just about anxiety and nothing else for me, once I've gotten tired of dying too many times I just start running around the space station and stop caring about getting caught.

Dead Space was pretty exhilarating in a frightful way. I also am a fan of the old Silent Hill and some of the Resident Evil games. Horror games are surprisingly fun.

Yeah people always talk about how scary Dead Space is, I might start playing it. Silent Hill looks pretty good too.
I remember the first time I played Dead Space, the dude sitting next to me literally did a backflip over the couch during a jump scare— 😅

For me, it would probably be playing Silent Hill 2 for the first time. I remember playing it and hating the controls, but the music, atmosphere and enemies were all scary to the point it kept me invested. Other than that, I don't think many other games come close to it unless it's the Silent Hills P.T. or Playable Teaser that came out on the PS4 back so many years ago. That could have been a huge game, with so many hidden secrets. Just the PT demo alone have different endings. So I imagine a full on game would have been even crazier.
