So YouTube always recommends videos that I would never search for regularly and I will admit (Full Disclaimer) that I disagree with the majority of what this brother has to say. With that being said I feel he makes some points that are valid from his perspective and although again, I don't agree with his entire point and I feel he contradicts himself when he brings up our Black Wallstreets that were destroyed by White Supremacy, I feel like he isn't coming from a place of hating on Black people despite being somewhat "disillusioned" for lack of a better word, with the current state of Black Infrastructure. As always, I like to save what I have to say and spark a discussion.

Do you feel Black Excellence is a Myth? Why or why not?

Should we compare Black Bourgeoisie to the O.W. Gurley's and other founders of affluent Black communities in the past?

Does his idea of Black Empowerment match up with Dr. Claud Anderson's philosophy on Powernomics?

The dominant society in America at various times in its history, hated on numerous peoples: Irish, Sicilians, Jews, Gays, Women, native Americans, Catholics, Latinos, Slavs, etc. There has been only one group in America that the dominant society has fought hard to stop them being educated.

Only one: Blacks.

You don't consistently work for 500 years to keep one group as uneducated as you can if they were no threat.

There is zero doubt whatsoever in my mind, if we were a. left alone to flourish intellectually and b. we created a culture of excellence that we would dominate fields of science, etc, far more than even Jews, Indians (India) and Chinese. None.

And whisper this but shhh....THEY all know this. All the other groups are capping. The minute we show our excellence they hate on it. There are Nigerians and other Africans killing it in Indian universities. India. The creators of the game chess. The ones that dominate math and tech today. The group that even white supremacists have finally said has a higher IQ than them. I know for a fact that they hate on African university students that come over there and excel past their own. The professors work hard to minimize them. Socially, they are hated on big time.

Barely financially and tiny (1,200 enrollment) HBCU Dillard University in New Orleans, with extremely limited resources creates more blacks in physics than any other schools including black female physics grads.

Marva Collins took black kids that even the dysfunctional Chicago school system said were not able to be educated and had them in her West Side Prep in Chicago where when it was in its prime sent almost every kid to college. 60 minutes did 2 episodes on them. One where these kids were 9, 10 learning Greek mythology and a follow up 'Where are they now' and that class had every single student had finished college except one who joined the military and excelled there. These are kids that were academically deemed unfit for one of the worst public school districts in America.

Brothers and sisters. We are the ones as a collective are the 'Jews', 'Indians', 'Chinese' in a manner of speaking in terms of potential and don't see it. And that is the true sadness of it all. I wish I had realized that about myself earlier in life. I let white teachers tell me I wasn't capable of understanding material or I was the subject of racism being told I wasn't capable of the work I did do that was better than the white kids. And trip this, I knew other blacks who were much smarter and gave up because systemically over time they were worn down by the system.

...one last (I'm trying) thing. WHEN (speaking truth to power) we fully actualize our true intellectual potential we will be hated in similar fashion to Jews in the same way. Accused of control over institutions, the government, a cabal, etc. but we'll be hated way, way more and it will even get more violent than what happened to them in America.

There will be a consequence that we must anticipate on the road there.

It don't matter if it involved our black business men selling out and moving, they were thinking of their families and putting them first. Most fathers and mothers would have done the same - black, white, or brown. They made sure to target the big players and the ones who were building up the economy for black folks. They needed to knock black people down again so they could continue to use them like pawns. Look no further than politics and the democratic party for examples. But if they don't support us, does this mean the other side does? HELL NO, republicans will flat out ignore us and leave us to die if they had their way.

I think that is largely due to a lack of knowledge about our own accomplishments and the focus of our greatness being shifted to the physical traits. I don’t think any group, including ourselves believe in our intellectual capacity because as you pointed out our enemy has spent 500+ years to make that a reality. Mediums are powerful and one reason why our enemy has preached intellect and greatness even though we know history has a very different record as it relates to European achievement. The saying “words have power” is very a very true statement and while one side is actively speaking power into their people, particularly through mediums and representations of white people we actively receive messages that have a different message. It’s similar to when we see Black people on the walls of KMT. That’s more powerful than any book or fact we could recite. (seeing is believing). You mentioned groups that white people have hated on and it’s important to know (which I’m sure you do) that those people weren’t considered white by anglo-saxon geermanics but they were brought into it later on. They have been allowed to benefit from the construction of whiteness and although they do still hate on those groups they do it “respectfully” under the pretense of whiteness. Which they in return protect the establishment of whiteness.

As far as this video I think a distinction should be made between “Black Excellence” and “Black Excellence in being White”. Black Excellence is excelling in the world in our own way and Black Excellence in being White (or Western) is excelling in doing things in a Western way. That is the Black Bourgeoisie that has wanted nothing to do with Black Excellence as they don’t believe that our way is “appropriate” and I feel the brother in the video is conflating the two because is relates to money. White society does not destroy the rich Blacks that facilitate their dominion over us and I think there is plenty of evidence of that. It’s no mistake why they accepted Blacks into their institutions after denying entry for the most part only making exceptions for who they considered exceptional (Paul Robinson) and that is because they realized that if they allowed our best and brightest to cultivated ourselves within our own institutions that we would in time be able to challenge their infrastructure of whiteness thus they open the doors and give opportunities to ensure that it is their infrastructure that remains dominant. When we consider the influx of immigration we see a similar strategy.

I think that in the past we would make sacrifices because we had to in order to survive and I don’t think we would have moved before desegregation. When I consider that my family even had businesses where we always had a place to have a job and I think of movies in which the plot revolves around either selling a house or business for the “betterment” of the family and how we as a people began selling those businesses and properties and now fast forward and everyone is renting and commerical businesses and immigrants control our communities. Before even Black Wallstreet in Tulsa there was a Black Native who was trying to turn Oklahoma into a Black state and when they couldn’t bribe him they sued him in court and drained his money that way (same tactics the use today) until he died shortly before Tulsa was destroyed. However when they preach submission and promote sayings such as “If you can’t beat em join em…” we have a playing field that facilitates Black abandonment of the community. We can’t get a montegomery bus boycott lasting a little over a year if you don’t have people willing to sacrifice and go thru some crazy stuff.

Individualism is a concept that is negative towards African Americans and doesn’t fit us. We come from a culture where when someone died we used to cook for that family in our neighborhood for an entire week if necessary while they were grieving fast forward only 50-60 years and that act is not even thought of today. The reason has to do with our education and how that education changes perception. That perception is detrimental to our survival and is the reason we keep falling lower and lower on the totem pole.

You are right. They had to allow our brightest in as a means to prevent our own from uprising. And what you mentioned about the whites adopting other cultures and people, I know about it first hand. My mom is Italian. She said that when her family first started coming to America, they were treated like scum and dirt. They were called WOPs, grease monkeys, etc. but the white Europeans knew that if they didn't let them into their clubs, they would end up on the same side as the black panthers and would help grow numbers against them. This is all by design. That is why when I see this "forced diversity" movement with the white liberals, my skin crawls because I know what they are doing. They want to white wash all of us and ensure the ones who can make it, don't overthrow their narrative. They keep black folks happy enough not to revolt. It is disgusting. This is a play right out of the nazi handbook.
