When I was a kid, my parents took me to the Pontins resort in Southport, England. I don't remember much but the only thing that I remember enjoying was the arcade they had and the only game I liked was 'Sonic And All-Stars Racing Transformed', we were taken to a room with a two channel TV that were just there to promote the company, the bed I slept on was rock solid and when it turned night, all hell broke loose. There were wailing ambulances driving around, people setting fires on the lawns and fights broke out. I only realised later on how bad the place looked and that all the resorts look the same.

The reviews on TrustPilot and Trip Advisor are hilarious and also told me more about the dangerous environment of the resorts as well as the attitude of the whole company.

I don't travel often or stay at resorts often but I always check reviews before staying anywhere.

And yeah, some of these reviews are fun to read and have me busting up laughing. People are raw and tell you like it is. They hold nothing back.
