It seems more backlash has come due to Chappelle's recent comedy special. Over 100 people walked out of the Netflix offices in protest of the special. Honestly, if this results in his special being removed, I hope he releases it online somewhere else, or even for free in spite of all of them. I bet Chappelle could easily fund his own releases if he wants to. I think that is what he will do if he gets "Cancelled" by Netflix and everyone complaining about his comedy.

It's sad that people have to take things away from others because it hurts their feelings. Here's an idea, make your own comedy that makes fun of the hate you receive. Make your own comedy routines. Don't try to push people out because you are offended by their opinions. I think that makes someone look worse, because it feels like they're actively trying to kill comedy. Offensive comedy exists for a reason.

The more people take a stand against the alphabet mafia, then the "Vets" of the group(Ls, Gs, Bs) will have no choice but to wrangle their undisciplined dogs(the other letters but mainly the Ts) and make them fall in line. I am so sick of these people acting like they are better and more valuable than others when they contribute nothing to our society. They just cry over everything, like damn grow the f up! Dave is a national treasure and one of the best comedians out there. Screw Netflix. If they screw over Dave, I know plenty who will walk. These nutjobs cause his friend to take her life. Great insight Sis. They need to regulate the individuals they allow to speak for them as a community. Every single looney cannot be the voice of the LGBT.

I think they're going to stand tall and keep the special on netflix. Even with the backlash from the LGBTQ community, I don't think it's going to be enough to take it off. Especially with how much they paid Chappelle. And honestly, this special probably has been watched even more since this fuss began.

As a fan of Chappelle since the beginning this whole uproar only solidifies his greatness as a social commentator and comedian . His ability to point out the absurd nature sometimes from American culture is refreshing and most definitely needed . All of his specials are comedic gold and he has earned his right to speak his mind .

I agree. He is one of the very few entertainers that stood firmly on his square and didn’t budge. He’s done it
multiple times, he is as real as they come.
