Killer Mike's Black and Latinx digital banking platform Greenwood has secured over $45 million in its latest round of funding following its launch in 2020.

Killer Mike continues to push this black and brown sh*t. Even worse, doing in the name of Black Wall Street by calling it Greenwood.
This is what the executive team of Greenwood looks like.
There are little to no Black people on that executive/corporate team. There's not even a Black CEO. What is going on with this Greenwood company? They couldn’t find any qualified Black employees?
Before knowing about this controversy surrounding Greenwood and Killer Mike, I was looking for Black banks to bank with and was considering banking with Greenwood until I did more research.

Greenwood is currently 51% Black-owned and yet, it is catering to and giving resources (and grants) to Latinos as much as they are Black people.
"The startup is still 51% Black-owned, and even though the financial institution undergirding Greenwood isn't minority-owned, all of Greenwood's business operations and oversight remain in the founders' control."

Founders Paul Judge and Ryan Glover knew little about banking, but 700,000 believers joined their exclusive waitlist. So can their fintech company actually repair centuries of racist banking?

Name one Latino-owned that would do the exact same for Black people like they do Latinos. Why are Black people and Black-owned businesses giving away resources and grants to Latinos when Latinos and Latino-owned businesses would never do the same for us? Latinos weren't not terrorized in the Greenwood terrorist attack, Black people were. What they are doing is blasphemous to our ancestors. Black deserve and are owed exclusive resources specific only to us for once.
It seems the 49% owners are only okay with funding Greenwood Credit Union as long as it gives back to non-Blacks, and Killer Mike and nem are trying to cater to and fund non-Blacks because they believe that non-Black minorities and poor whites are in the same boat as us. Newsflash, they aren't. We don't even share the same history. This is yet another reason why we need reparations ASAP, so that we feel the need to sellout like this in order to soothe the racist dominant society and for our businesses to "survive" at the expense of the Black community and our culture.
