admittedly im a casual fan but if tay roc or chess is battling my ears perk up.
i got tay roc.
i got tay roc.
I haven’t been in the battle rap scene in awhile so I’m going to check this out. Last battle I watched I think was Ayverb vs. Hitman Holla.
If rather see Brizz vs. Eazy. On this battle I see.Man I’ve been waiting for this ish. Tay Roc gonna eat him alive. I also want to see Brizz vs Mook.

Round 1: Roc
Round 2: Twork
Round 3: Twork
Twork is able to keep the energy throughout all the rounds where Roc typically tapers off.
Tay is hit or miss with me. He has some sick bars like he said:see thats the thing. i think most of tworks appeal is his ENERGY. not the bars
and yeah roc does taper off and his round 1's are usually the hardest.
but i still got roc.
@Mastamind not sure how many battle rap fans we got in here but can we get a poll?

I agree with this. When two energetic battle rappers go at it with nothing but gun bars that shit get tiring.I don't know i find that battle rap matches are ALOT like Boxing Matches/MMA matches. What i mean by that is --- styles make excellent battles. Their styles to me are a bit the same. With Tay Roc & Twork i think its a matter of energy like someone said. I'll say this im not the biggest fans of Twork or Danny Myers, their styles just not my thing. I think it a matter of who is in they bag with this one. They both can execute good angles when it comes to 1 another.

Sometimes he’s like the boxer who throws a bunch of combos and none of them land but it looks exciting to the crowd.but twork is way more animated than roc. right?
twork does so much some time i dont even catch the punchline....
lol
and everybodys like Ohhhhhhhhhhhh
and im like.
The good old days!Sometimes he’s like the boxer who throws a bunch of combos and none of them land but it looks exciting to the crowd.
But a lot of that works today. I used to watch the old SMACK DVDs before that really became a big thing. It was a lot more gutter and witty and less showmanship.
The good old days!
Daylit was doing way too much with the props and antics, too. Breh actually tried to drop a duece on stage.Clowns like Dizaster started bringing props and ish.
Then niggas in the audience was saying the lines with the rappers.
That nigga was legit nuts. Very talented but I think he had some type of mental illness. I remember Paul Walker died he dropped a track that was tasteless but it was jamming.Daylit was doing way too much with the props and antics, too. Breh actually tried to drop a duece on stage.
