Training Day, Bad Lieutenant, Blade, Heat, etc. Top notch Actors definitely means higher production values. I can get with those types of films. Just watched Sin City again & that is largely Mickey Rourke’s film. By and large I favor the Indie Art House scene.

Comedy I like, but good comedy is simply hard to find. I think we’re luck to see a jewel of a comedy every 3 years.
