I feel like there are no absolutes in life but there is some stuff that is important to know. The same dude that said a single mom is the equivalent of a broke dude would not feel the same about Beyoncé if she broke up with Jay.

So while women do have to be mindful that being a single mom will reduce your value in the dating marketplace, it is not absolute. Sometimes you end up a single mom for completely legitimate reasons and can still be a great partner to a man and the right man will see that.

Being a single dad also hurts your value too. I’ve been passed up so many times when a woman finds out I have a daughter.

I don't even trip on sisters with that mindset other than in a larger sense of where we are as a collective but not about their mindset on me personally. I keep it moving.

Same with dusty, simp n*ggas. Almost with no exceptions the brothers I communicate with the most are solid, thorough guys I admire. All in stable, solid relationships because they chose wisely. One married a single mom. She's a solid sista. Smart as hell, FEMININE, supportive of my boy. She bestowed qualities that he couldn't find in most single sistas.

Almost to a person, the sistas I've met years ago with that kinda talk are tryna holla at the same brothers, presently single, they were talking feminist talking points, and talking sh*t to. They purged their social media of the 'Boss B*tch' memes and either are frontin' like born again Christians or tryna be a bootleg Coretta Scott. King.

The brothas who were on some other ish back then, didn't build, etc, are tryna get in with our circles.

Because even if you work ONE job as a MALE??? you have TWO 🙃🤔🤓 and the second, one is the PRIMARY which is a long-term investment that doesn't pay off day-to-day like the 40 hours plus a week ... and that's coming from a recently single mother perspective.... Me and my spouse split when the kid was six I thought it would be EASY... 😞 ... But it's like driving in the car with three wheels... Although we co-parent will he comes around when it's convenient for him... When he's well rested his son has become extracurricular hobby. Just think about it 👁️‍🗨️☕🚸🙂💜

This young man was completely dedicated/committed to disagreeing with her 😄 and to him(in his eyes), you can clearly tell she has no "pretty privilege". ☕If one of the other young ladies would have started👁️‍🗨️ talking as she was, 🤓it might have been met with a different response just as you stated. Yup! I have a friend her lost her fiance. They have a kid together. Died from medical problems. She still has not met anyone. I don't think she wants to. This happened in 2019 and she hasn't been the same. All the focus is on her child which is great but she is young and I really want her to find someone. Either way, she is a single mother due to life's unfair circumstances. The fact that she would lose value for that is insane to me.

Why do so many women these days refuse to stay in shape? I notice they hit like 25 and just stop caring. Even if you are in a relationship, you should stay in shape or at least make sure you don't end up obese. I know a woman who is 45 with 5 children and she has abs. She don't work out or anything. Just keeps her house and yard clean, takes care of the kids, cooks, etc.

To be fair, its damn hard to stay in shape as you get older. Metabolism slows down to a crawl it seems, busier, etc.

The hard cold truth is if a man of means is out of shape he can still get very good women. Should he stay in shape? Sure. If nothing else for his health but its not as important. Jason Black is on the money about women maintaining their good shape/looks.

If you are a woman that is tryna catch, its paramount. If she can't maintain it then....well. I won't go there.
