Just imagine how despicable these officers had to be to strip them of their firearms. Because being a standard card carrying White Supremacist is perfectly fine. There must have been a huge scandal they needed to avoid and so they got them off the force before any blowback hit.
What's horrible about this all is the fact that what made them test the deputies was the fact that a Black deputy killed someone. Not to say that they didn't need to test but when these White deputies go ape shit they don't go testing the whole department.Imagine if they did an audit like this across the country..

I don't believe they are only testing Black officers but what provoked the test was a Black officer killing a woman he was dating.
This right here. I wish this is how cops get trained in. A psych evaluation, that if they fail, they can't join. I bet it'd stop many of the cops out there killing unabated. Or it would stop them before they can become murderers.

And especially after they've taken someone's life. Thing is though, who's evaluating the evaluator? Maybe the evaluation process should be tiered - by three different psychologists with an independent arbiter to decide based on the triple assessments.
