My comment is most likely going to upset some readers -not bothered about that at all👍🏿

I'm sooo not a fan of Winters -it absolutely grates me to hear him speak. He is not lucid and his style of delivery is irritatingly off putting -infantile screeching and shouting but the thing that really irritates me is when he says 'in a sense' repeatedly as if it was a comma when, purportedly, stating a fact. He uses this phrase practically every sentence. Well is it a fact or not for goodness sake?! How are you credentialising yourself as a serious historian with a Phd only you're informing your listeners that what I just told you is 'in a sense' which suggests it maybe so 🙄
I think that's why Dr Van Sertima didn't give him his academic seal of approval which Winter still harbours resentment about and took the opportunity to speak contemptibly about Van Sertima, remarking that 'he was full of shit'. Well he was certainly far more articulate and competent in delivery than Winter could ever be. Furthermore, I don't agree with some of the information Winter puts forward.

That's your choice and opinion but he's put in the work ,no he doesn't have the best delivery but after researching what he says you'll see he's solid in his field. Dude is like in his 70's so this type of forum may not be his thing.

I've also done my own research and found some of his stuff is contradictory. Irrespective of his age, he's not the only one to have 'put in the work' -J H Clarke was a lot older and faaar more learned and renowned in his field and had a protracted track record of contending with WS controlled institutions whitewashing black history but because Winter was passed over by the black elites in his field he feels comfortable making disparaging comments in his absence as an ancestor. Clarke's legacy is far more inspiring, influential than relatively unknown Winter. Creating PowerPoint slides and reading them back doesn't even come close to the profound knowledge and wisdom as J H Clarke and other predecessors that left an indelible impression. Check out Dr David Imhotep's work and books

You're assuming that I haven't checked out any of the other Brother's works....trust I have and they're great resources but for the sake of this post I'm focusing on Dr.Winters , I get that you don't like him or his delivery but he's legitimate enough to have had his work plagiarized by another famous Brother who I won't mention here because I don't speak ill of the ancestors. So while your opinion if him may be valid your emotions won't allow you to learn anything from him and that's okay. I don't have to like someone to learn from them.
