There is some deep stuff, not just what she said, but how the other sista react and all that. A very good homegirl of mine, said that 'we've been beaten down for so long, been told in the media, we aren't the standard of beauty that we just don't want to hear what we gotta do anymore'

    That's a very interesting conversation.
I think a big part of what's being missed is that there are a lot of guys (like myself) who would have liked to be with a black woman. Unfortunately the women of the black community turned us away at every instance.
So we moved on to women of other races that were more receptive.

I never felt like black women weren't attractive. I never felt like they were mean. I never get like were too hoodrat or thots.

They just didn't want to date me. Maybe I should have took the time to ask why or what I could have done differently. But at that time I was just like okay whatever. And moved on to ask another. But if you get turned down so much then you get tired of it. We're human too and constantly getting rejected takes a toll on you.

So when you are talking to beautiful latina women and they are giving you play you get your self esteem up. You're not going to go back to black women who rejected you. For me at that point it would have taken a black woman asking me first. I wasn't going to make the first move.

She's on Pearly Things (sidenote: I wonder if she'll stay on there after Pearly had a white supremacist on). I have a feeling men will feel about her different than some women. Not all. I got a feeling men will have a consensus opinion and sisters will be split.
