Not really into Star Wars like my little bro but when I got nothing to watch or nothing going on, I do consider watching some of their stuff just cause I love the sci-fi genre. I saw some clips of it though, especially with the fighting scenes and it seems... Kind of slow and lazy for some reason. Maybe that is just how it looks at certain parts? I don't know. Is anyone here watching the series? Is it worth a passive watch or should I skip it?

I'm a huge Star Wars fan. The series is okay for a true Stars Wars fan but if you are a casual fan, you may not like it.

I would put The Mandalorian as the best of the series. Disney is milking it for all its worth. Ahsoka isn't bad. Its decent. But that's my subjective opinion.

From the bits and pieces I’ve seen it isn’t really my thing. At points the show is more about Sabine or whatever her name than it is about Ahsoka. I also feel like they cram the “force is female” agenda a little too much in it.

You can have strong female leads without having to make the males illogical, weak, or stupid. It comes off as contrived rather than just an authentic story of women in the Star Wars universe.

This is what I was wondering really. Cause I know Disney and a lot of these corporations want to force feed people strong, emotionless female leads... Like just look back at the '90s and '80s to see the proper way to do this. You can have an amazing female led movie or show but you cannot do so while making the men look weak. This nonsense puts me off. I want to see strong men doing manly things ffs.

I think the concept of Ahsoka is interesting. My bro watched the cartoon with her in it. I don't remember much about it but I did like her character design and attitude. Maybe this is just one of those characters that is better suited for animation?
