I don't think it could work unless we came in with overwhelming money and guns. We would need the money to start building social services to get the people on our side and guns to destroy anyone who tried to challenge us. Anything short of that IMO is going to succumb to tribalism. If they can't make it work themselves what are we going to do differently? We'll just get caught up in the stupid ass ethnic politics that go on in many African nations. If we come in, we have to dominate. It would have to be something after either a revolution in one of their nations and the leader is about self-sufficiency and pan-Africanism like a Malema or after we get reparations and then find an African nation to go bogart. I can't see it working any other way. If we can't:

• Feed the people
• Clothe the people
• House the people
• Teach the people
• Lead the people

In that order then we will be just another tribe fighting over meager resources. But we'll also be the tribe everyone can turn on because we'd be the outsider.

Akon understands that we have skills that Africans actually need to grow in the 21st century. We're not from there so this wouldn't work.

Hmm. We lazy, but we’d be a boon to Africa? Lazy saviors. So folks would happy to see us and cuss us out every chance they get and worse than they ever did the colonizers. Black folks don’t respect other Black folks, how would this be different? And the local Chinese buying up everything won’t just sit there and watch us move in, either. They’ll pay mercenaries to kidnap and chop us up!
