Since the murder of Tyree Nichols there have been at least 3 further killings of unarmed black men.
Two black men were tasered to death and another was shot while running from the police.

It just seems like it happens so much now that it's regular news!

Bruh, there are many, many others that have happened that haven't gone viral. We are not on alert. Jews got high surveillance security at all the Temples. Our churches, admittedly far more in number, for the most part easy targets even after Charleston. Our girls are way over represented on the missing children numbers and even those numbers are lower than the reality because the cops will dismiss a missing black teen girl from the projects as a runaway or drugs or whatever.

We need more of us to change culturally to be on alert, community protection and policing and responsible parents and guardians. Our low socio-economic class numbers and so many of us just beaten down from overt and covert systemic targeting, no thorough men around as before, we are extremely vulnerable.

I personally think any brotha who hasn't invested in or seriously considered some form of audio/visual recording device in his vehicle is nuts. Any black person with a car period, now that I think about it. Will it stop it? No, but it makes it much harder to get away with it and also serves as a 'get out of jail' free card if you defend yourself and are charged for defending yourself (Breonna Taylor's boyfriend).

Its especially frustrating and heartbreaking as a black man in America hearing about these things. You want do something, anything to stop it but you are just one person with limited resources. I feel ya...on God I do. We do what we can though.

It happened way more prior to social media. People are only aware of it now because of social media. Imagine how much it happened when people couldn't talk about it or get the message out. I know we give places like Twitter a lot of BS but that is one thing that has benefited us. Still though, it happens way to often. Once is too much.

It's been happening for ages but the internet has put a magnifying glass on it - now the whole world sees it too in real time.

That said, we all know black people are living behind enemy lines in America, so why run from the cops? Yes, its freaking annoying to be stopped for no reason but why give them the excuse to pull out the hammer?

Get arrested, go to the precinct, get bail and if you were wrongly arrested, sue the department. Sophistication is what's needed in handling these issues.

Exactly! If you ain't goin' out like Terminator 2, keep your mouth shut, get them handcuffs on and go to the precinct for booking quietly. Please don't make a scene if you aint about that life. The cops want to kill you...they're race soldiers.

Thing is that for those that are out there involved in crime and doing illegal stuff it sucks to even see them killed unjustly.

However it is when the cop catches them with weed, or they have a warrant and know it, have a gun on them and have a prior felony charge; It's the situations where they just need to cut their losses and do the time. If brothas are out there living that life they need to just do the time.

When they go out and commit crimes and resist it makes it harder for those of us that are law abiding upstanding brothas. When one of us are killed we're just lumped in with the rest.

Don't get me wrong some stuff is just petty. Like selling loose cigarettes or CDs. Police need to leave people alone about petty stuff like that, but drugs, DUI, violent offenses aren't excusable. Sorry these people need to just not resist and if they do then it is what it is!

No matter what cops aren't judge jury and executioner, that's NOT how justice works and it should NEVER become acceptable to us! You don't get to murder someone just because you have a badge and a gun.

You notice something? And I think either Tariq or TBA said this as well, but when you see the 'Yo, man I ain't do nutten' and a whole lot of arguing, even though they are right, you can tell they are just a regular brotha and not deep B1.

My guess is the cops get a more calm, but firm and on his toes, brotha when he's B1 and sees the stop for what it is: a race soldier either trying to body you or at the very least arrest you for any little thing.

Tariq said something a few times that resonated with me. You are a POW when the cops got you hemmed up. Act accordingly. Name, rank and serial number. A brotha in WW2 didn't ask the Nazi soldiers 'Yo, why you stopping me, I ain't do nothing'.

Will it save your life? Not guaranteed. If a cop is determined to take you out, he will. Some of us have seen a video of a cop in Arizona pretty much setting up a white boy to be executed. He was begging for his life and followed instructions as best he could while knowing the cop wanted to kill him.

But you can increase your chances not just of survival but a lawsuit because you know what is and you are B1.

These race soldiers have stopped 100s of us and know the various responses we will have when they try to escalate it. They look for any ol' thing. Even when you are fully compliant but you have that look on your face like 'You ain't shyt', I've had them say 'You got a problem?' and if you don't answer "You are non compliant' and if you answer with too much base, they want to get in your face more. They want you to grovel and they know some of us ain't begging or cowtowing, f*ck that. You may have the right to stop me (or not but in the moment they do), but I'm not gonna coon either.

They want the compliant field buck doing the 'Yes suh' and 'No suh', F&CK THAT. I can tell you this though, when you are calm, and don't overreact but don't cow tow either it scares them more than anything else.
