Kindred is a new tv show that dropped earlier this month, and is tv adaptation of a book by the same name. I think I read that book for a book report in middle school, but I didn't remember much about it. But the trailer for the show reminded me of it some. It's about a woman who is somehow going back in time sort of living the life of a relative who was forced into slavery. She has to then figure out how to get back to her real life.

It's on FX, so I may eventually binge watch it.

Why they have her married to / in a relationship with a crusty white dude while going back in time to have a gun put to her head by a white dude? I don't know if I will check this out but anytime I see a sister with a male feminist looking dude in a TV show it puts me off. At least give her an attractive dude to be with, the fuq.
