I have been looking into buying a camera for over a year now. I have one of those bulky DSLR ones and it works great but it is a pain to get out and use when I want to quickly snap pics. My phone camera is fine in a pinch but I want something that does better at indoor pics and gets higher quality in general. Looking at buying some sort of point and shoot camera I can just have out. Something you turn on and can shoot pics right away. Having a share option I can use with my phone is a plus.

Anyone know enough about cameras to recommend me some? My budget is $500 or less.

You can get the camera my sister got for Christmas. It is the Panasonic Lumix ZS80K. I think it is under $400 on Amazon but I am not 100% on that. I was playing around with it and it is a nice camera.

Thanks sis. I'm gonna be taking lots of road trips & tours. My adult children are moving here as well & I'm gonna need a reliable camera to fill our family photo albums & create wall art as well.
Seriously thinking about opening a gallery to showcase my photography.

My photographer friend sent the following recommendation:

In my purse I always carry a Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS100. It's small enough to fit in your pocket, can be fully automatic and manual control. You can experiment with different settings for in camera as opposed to post production work. Good quality prints.

Do it! For real. Galleries do so well online and it would be a good means to have a side hustle. I know someone from work who does this and sells her pictures to blogs and other websites. Makes a good penny for it.
