100 migrants move into vacant Woodlawn school despite local concerns

CBS 2 has been reporting on the plans to move migrants into the building, even as the city first said there were no such plans.

Would you look at this s..t! An empty school in the Woodlawn neighborhood being occupied by illegal immigrants. Not the citizens of this community! Why isn't this building used for umm, I don't know, maybe a school for black children. I forgot, they closed them all to make way for the takeover.

I really hope the residents continue to protest and don’t help these folks at all; don’t hurt or tease them, but don’t allow them to think they’ve earned their place in the community or this country.
Push for them to be moved to Latino communities.
