Beyoncé is the Budweiser of Black Music she’s the most popular but no one would claim her to be the best or even decent.
Idk about the no classic take because that's opinionated as hell(imo Crazy in Love and/or Lemonade) but these awards are agenda driven as fuck. They said Formation is the greatest video of all time and I literally don't remember how it looks.

What song of hers can you put up next to those? It’s damn near disrespectful and one thing we have to factor in is that White awards should not dictate the Black Pantheon. That’s how weirdos like Lil Nas X get injected into our music.
I didn't disrespect her. Something about all of these accolades smell kind of fishy. On paper she's the greatest artist (not just female) of all time. She has 15 more Grammys than Michael Jackson. There has to be some middle between ground between her being up there with Mozart and Beethoven and disrespecting her name.

Yeah, black history shouldn't be for sale. B and Jay-Z are one Grammy away from having 50. I imagine Lil Nas X is gonna clean up next year.
Yeah and Beyoncé doesn’t even hold a candle to MJ it ain’t even close, she wouldn’t even state that. That’s why we need to leave those awards out of the discussion of who is and isn’t the greatest. Lil Nas X gonna have 100 Grammys by time all is said and done.

I don’t think it’s a conspiracy, it’s just that she resonates with the new generation and she is being awarded as such.
As for her writing for Aaliyah I don’t see if the age even adds up.
It's interesting to see a black woman having the most grammys, it shows that people are listening. You also have to consider artists like Rihanna, as she too has a slew of Grammys if I remember correctly.

Agree with both of these. I understand what the others are saying but the representation for the new generations is an important thing.
Is representation always important? Meg the Stallion is representation too, would you want your daughter acting like her?
Lil Nas X is representing the young black male in the same way. Tokens don’t represent us.
100% factual. That’s White people’s representation of Black people. That’s their sick and twisted view of us, nothing about it is organic. If we had complete control over our media infrastructure unencumbered by White interest it would not look like Lil Nas X. I bet within 20 years it’d go back to 70’s style live instrumentation for a lot of our music with good quality messages.
There’s a reason why Silk Sonic - Leave the Door Open was such a huge hit.
I can't think of a single album she did where it was overwhelmingly good. She would have one or two great songs and the rest was forgettable. A lot of her new music feels lazy and trashy as well. Maybe that is just me though. I loved her in Destiny's Child but since she went solo, seems like she is high on herself. She has talent, don't get me wrong but plenty of other women out there do better work. Just saying.

I agree with this 100%, I think that her music with Destiny’s Child was much much better. Better messages, better substance, and sounded better. Check Up On It is the song that to me encompasses her solo career…terrible lyrics, sucky beat, quick/catchy/disposable.

Question…
Some of those awards she was winning in years she didn’t even put out an album. It looks like some palms got greased because people who were more deserving (even people of color). One great example is her winning songwriter of the year for Survivor and Jumping Jumping in the same year Alicia Keys dropped Songs in A Minor…
Her management team is willing to buy up some Grammys…
How is that a big achievement or encouraging?
I love Beyoncé btw.
They either buying them or just apart of the overarching machine that controls both the label and the Grammy’s.
