Heyy yall i be so disgusted with our black celebrities with the exception of nipsey and 2pac i think they have been compleþe failures.what would yall say to a boycott on all celebrity make up clothing streaming etc that aint on code meaning wealth redidistribution and im not taking about 5000 dollars to a black college or watever i mean really help black people.

I don't expect a man or woman to reach success and give me handouts. I am not a socialist. lol

Like I get that they aren't doing much to better the communities but our communities aren't their responsibility. If they choose to help out, they can. Most don't but that is on them. They are not obligated to pay us a dime. Why should they? It isn't their fault that slavery was acceptable back in the day. It wasn't their fault that the US government set the black man or woman up to fail in America. If they happen to come out on top, more power to them.

Welcome to the board. I think Jason Black had a good answer for this one on his episode from Sunday night. If we all follow a Black agenda we will naturally do what's in our best interest, we won't even have to be deliberately anti-anything. Like you, I've become disillusioned with Black celebrities but I focus on helping Black people and business owners in my community and share knowledge that I have to help us think on a single accord.

So I don't necessarily think we need to boycott, we just need to see them for what they are, entertainment. Right now, we look to them as thought-leaders and that's why there is an expectation on them greater than they are willing to offer. When you see LeBron as nothing more than a tall dude that throws a bouncy ball in an orange metal ring, you start to give him the amount of significance that he deserves.

Because at the end of the day, if we boycott celebrities we still are left with a fractured community with many off-code members. We need to change the community and the celebrities will have to fall in line.

The same ppl you are giving your time and money to are using that money to fund white suppremecy agencies like the nfl nba etc. I am a communist and you will never beat whire supprrmct with black capitalism it is no better and will continue a path of destruction climate change and imperailaism.

I dont understand that what good is being on code if there is no punishment for being off code? Jason called out jay z for being a traitor why not take the next step and pull his support? I understand that but the issue is that not giving support is a byproduct of being on code. If you’re on code with an agenda of Black Empowerment, your automatic next step is going to be to support those who support you. So Im saying that if we focus on doing for ourselves, focus on supporting one another, and only dealing with those who are about Black empowerment then off code celebrities, teachers, doctors, lawyers, businesses, etc will all be excluded naturally. We wont have to single them out because tending to our agenda will cause to be excluded by default.

If energy is finite and we only have 100 energy to expend a day, I’d rather direct that energy towards finding and working with like minded empowerment focused Blacks rather than using it to point out off code Blacks and demanding their allegience. Or in other words, if I was around 100 people and 75 were off code I’d rather spend my time linking and building with the 25 that were on code instead of pointing out the 75 that werent. We could build together and the 75 that were off code would be excluded from anything we built which would be their punishment. If they attempted to sabotage then the punishment would escalate to where it naturally needs to go.

Medicare-for-All is a Progressive Agenda item so I fail to see why Beyoncé’s lack of support for it should serve as a galvanizing point for Black Americans. Are you advocating for rising tides lift all boats policies? I‘m not accusing you of such I’m simply asking.
