I have heard one too many stories where they just funk up and hurt or kill people. No thanks. I am not on it. I am good. I don't care if I got one of these cars for free. My car has some autopilot features even though not as comprehensive and I don’t fully trust it. It starts to brake waaaaaaaay after the point I’m comfortable and while it always brakes on time I’m just not comfortable with it.

It feels just like that. They need to smoothen it out a bit. Just because the math adds up and the car will stop in enough time doesn't mean you have to wait til the last damn minute to start stopping. It needs to do it gradually.

I heard about all sorts of newer cars having this issue. I think mine might have one as well. I never used it. Not even on the freeway. I am good.
