[Mud City Savage]

This may be a long shot, because I swear I remember a movie like this. This was back in the early 2000s. I remember there was a few Blair Witch Project parody films that came out soon after. I remember one that had an all black cast. I think there was a couple rap artists in it, but I completely am drawing a blank on it. I'm pretty sure it might have been an HBO movie as well, or short. But I can't find anything on it.

The closest thing I came to, was The Black Witch Project, which was about military rejects who go on some retreat according to imdb. After second thought, it might actually be the correct movie.

Oh damn, I think it is this one:

I was young when I watched it, so for all I know it probably hasn't aged well. I just thought at the time it was so damn funny. But the quality looked a lot better than the video above. But I doubt there's a way to purchase this these days.

I never even heard of this. I remember when the original was popular. I didn't actually watch it. Still haven't. I have seen bits and pieces of it and know it from people making fun of it but never actually watched the whole movie. This seems like a low-budget indie film from the looks of it.

Blair Witch on its own kinda sucks, but if you read some of the theories about it online, it somehow gets better. Especially with this theory:

One theory I like, is that the main character (forget her name) is actually being toyed with by the men in her group. During the film, they constantly argue, because at one point they lose the map, one of their friends goes missing and in the morning they find a small pile of leaves with teeth, assuming it's their friend that just went missing. But, the theory claims these guys set it all up, so that they could torment her and then kill her near the end. I do a horrible job of telling it, but I found a link to the theory below if you want to read it up.

Yup, got the theory wrong a bit, but it's close to what I said above, it's #4 on the list: 15 Fan Theories About 'The Blair Witch Project'

This theory imo, makes the movie better, at least for me.

Yeah that makes it better. I finally watched Blair Witch a couple years ago and didn't understand the hype at all.

As for the Black Witch Project, I've never seen or heard of it haha

It was huge when it came out. I wasn't too into the Blair Witch Project in general, but the Black Witch Project was so damn funny to me at the time. I wonder if you can even find this movie anywhere. It looks worse than I remember lol.

Yeah I heard there are some theories that make the movie better a second time watching it. But idk if it would get me to re-watch it.

Oh yeah, that's right they did make a remake for Blair Witch. I forgot about that, hell didn't they even make a game recently?

Did anyone watch the sequel to the Blair Witch Project? That movie was awful.

The original. Idk, it just didn't do it for me lol
